So Fab friends.

Just wondering from the parents that swing, how do you manage your older kids? Like how do you get rid of them, when you want to swing?

For years it was fine, they would go to babysit for friends, go to grannies ect...

However they are older now & want to stay at home on Saturday nights, that’s our night!

Any suggestions would be good

Are they old enough to be left alone?

Under the Duvet

It's a tricky one, too big for the cupboard under the stairs, too young to send to the casino for the night...

Have them through the day while they’re at school maybe? Ask granny to stay while you go out on ‘date night’ anything like that should do the trick

buy him a gaming headset he can hear the tv through it, it just plugs in the controller, you won't have to whisper then

Go to a club.

You chose to have your kids and that's their home too.

When they're of a legal age will you be going out so they can have friends round to have sex?

From my experience, children only want to know where their parents are going (I.e. why they are not at home) until they start going out with their friends themselves. After that, they don't care, but then you start worrying about them.

I don't think its a bad thing for older kids to understand that their parents have a relationship that doesn't include them. Can they stay with grandparents once every six weeks because you two want some quality time together. They don't need to know what the quality time entails.

We used to go out.

Tell them you're going to be downstairs shagging like mad. NO kids want to see their parents having sex... may do the trick !

Our eldest knows we go to clubs and has met quite a few of our non vanilla friends.. I guess it's all about how you explain it and how open you are with your kids..

He really has no issue with it at all... and is happy to babysit for us... we don't ever ask them to stay out for a night for us to entertain tho he loveshis bed to much

"Kids are 16 & 18"

its difficult isn't it.

Sometimes all you can do is meet people who are happy to host and play away from home so to speak

Isn’t this as simple as don’t play at home? What are we missing?

In our years off swinging only ever had one meet at home. Kids although grown up have never been predictable so could never take the risk . Definitely choose a meet away from home.

We’ve been sneaking around for years behind our son’s back but this summer as he was off to uni we came clean and told him. He said he thought we were going to say that we were part of some weird cult! Ha ha
