I've only been a member here for a month or so and to be honest I wasnt aware of anything to do with the world of swinging until a friend told me to have a look on here.

One thing i've seen mentioned on numerous profiles etc or in forums is swingers clubs and i'd be lying if I said I wasnt curious to find out more although I'd be intimidated I think if I ever went to one!?

So was just wondering , is there an etiquette inside, do they welcome singles? Without stating the obvious what would the normal events be or would it just be like attending a normal bar/club where friends and people meet to get to know each other?

All clubs have different rules, depending on the venue, however the general rules are the same,, yes there is an Eitquette and its always a good idea to follow it.

Singles are normally welcome at most clubs, although there are a couple that are couples only. Most clubs have couples only nights on Saturdays, but it does vary.

I could write a whole essay of advice for you here, but I am sure others will chip in.

Hi,

Have a look at the clubs section and reviews for clubs close to you.

You may find reviews on there from people who say it was their first time etc, it would't hurt to email a few people just to ask for specific advise about a club your thinking of visiting, or use the magic search button as there may already be a thread on here.

We only have a very limited view of clubs as we've only been to one, albeit many times

- but the general rules are usually posted on all websites, however, if you are polite, treat everyone with respect, and accept that manners, personal hygene and a sense of humour go a long way, I exepct you'll have a good time. Of course the golden rule is "no means no" - And there is never any discussion about it - Period.

My impression is that if you break this rule, you'll generally be asked to leave and be banned permanently.

Just relax - we go to a club, not just for sexual reason, its a lovely place to relax and chat with, generally very unjudgmental relaxed confident people.
