Bull v Dom

I was asked by some nice people if I would take part in a bull scenario. I pointed out that as much as I have respect for that type of play, it was not me.

I am in my own mind clear that bulls and doms are different, but what do you think?

My opinion is that its best to be clear about how you like to express your sexuality. People have their own definitions of these terms and the two do have common themes at some points.

Massive difference between a dom and someone who likes to be dominating in the bedroom, therefore I would say a dom and a bull are 2 different things

they don't have a lot in common.

Thank you for your thoughts.

The only point where I think they overlap is that there is a need in the conscientious bull to really understand the dynamic between the couple and understand the nuance of his part in the relationship. I think that is not so important in general swinging.

Likewise, a conscientious dom has to really try to understand what the submissive(s) is looking for to see whether there is a fit.

Other than that I think Bulls and Doms are very different.

I don't like either of the terms.

They give off very uninviting connotations for me

Both are very broad terms which different people would argue quite heatedly over the precise meaning.

As a result people will have different experiences with people who attach that label to themselves.
