Would you recommend fab to newbie swingers for their first meet, or advise them to get to a club first then maybe use fab to keep in touch with folks they've met?

We went to a club first before we arranged a meet, but we were one here before we went to a club.

Having said that we have only ever managed to arrange 4 social meets off here in 4 years.

1 looked nothing like his pics,

1 didn't show, the others were with couples one of which was a disastrous meet that we managed a lucky escape.

So now we mainly just go to clubs, its easier.

I’d recommend it but give warnings of some bad apples we have, I tend to end up recommending the other site for research too, I think it depends who I’m talking to and what they’re looking for really, some might be more suited to clubs, others to looking here

I’d definitely recommend Fabs, but would also encourage a newbie to try out clubs rather than rely solely on Fabs for meets.

Think that's the main reason most disappear. Maybe fabs should have some filters already filled in for ladies to give them time to adjust

Absolutely not, a club every time. Only point is for keeping in touch with play partners and to help separate it from real life.

Fabswingers works well enough and its less in your face than a club for new people to the scene if things get uncomfortable you can log out its more difficult in a club.

We went to a club before we had even heard of fab. It was good for ok we are on the same page in terms of what we wanted to happen and what we were ok with. A lot better than figuring that out when someone was in our home. As a first step from fantasy to reality I would say a club is a great idea x

I have met lots of ladies on here who are initially petrified by the swarm and Fuck wits.

At least in a club they can pour a pint over an idiots head.

Here, they are oft just left feeling insecure and abused.

It takes time for ladies too...just for diff reasons

Recommend clubs first...

I did it this way!

Tis why I've decided to go back to my 'roots' instead of relying upon this place for meets....

When I hosted events at clubs and newbies were there very often in chatting I would recommend Fab to them

I said to them it’s a good way to get into the scene from a distance , see what’s out there , keep updated with any parties / clubs and generally have a little nosey

It was always nice to receive a message when they had joined to tell me how they were finding it all

My female neighbour recommended Fabs to me. I've only been here 6weeks so time will tell. But having had a very vanilla life for 20+ years, I'm finding it very exciting. I now have a couple of sexy, respectful, reliable 'playmates' who are helping me explore my kinky side. And..we've also become good friends away from Fabs. Clubs are next on our 'fuck it' lists x
