What are the pros and cons of a clit piercing? Mrs wants one, told her to just go for it

I have both VCH and Christina.

VCH enhances when I’m on top.

Christina just looks visually pleasing but the hubby likes to feel it pressing into him when I’m on top.

Just be aware that because of the governments legislation about female genital mutilation most reputable piercers are unable to do these procedures any more so you may have to go abroad to have them done. Nipples are still ok and you can do whatever you want to a bloke. It’s a mad world isn’t it!

I had VCH done a week ago. If it’s pain she’s worried about I can honestly say it’s been no trouble. Once I get a smaller bar fitted I imagine the benefits will be awesome.

It’s not too bad getting it pierced pain wise, was absolutely bearable.

I was advised not to have sex for 6 weeks whilst healing. It certainly was an enjoyable piercing. However, it got knocked when my ex got a little too vigorous. Never ever felt pain like it. It also healed in the wrong position because of that & had to come out.

I’d recommend it though - just be very careful haha!

There’s still places in the UK doing intimate female piercings, so lots of research before choosing one!

I have a VCH and it's fabulous. It's glorious to have a chain attached and be lead around by hubby at fetish clubs, and feels great running nails down the chain so all the vibrations reach my clit. Amazing for violet wand play. The ring can also be rung like a bell across my clit, haha

I think you’ll find this information has since been updated. Originally, there was some concern how genital piercings sat within the guidelines, with some piercers refusing to do them. Now, most still do them, so no need to go abroad.

I think you’ll find this information has since been updated. Originally, there was some concern how genital piercings sat within the guidelines, with some piercers refusing to do them. Now, most still do them, so no need to go abroad. "

That’s interesting as my ex fb had her piercing done about two years ago and when we went back six months later the piercer in question said she couldn’t do it - I’ll get back in touch with her and get an update.

I've had mine done for 20 years almost. It didn't make any difference to my sex life. My only advice would be to take a sanitary towel as it bleeds like fuck when its done.

It really shouldn’t - the girl who pierced my fb’s clit hood was very careful to check for any blood vessels and was scrupulously clean - we were supposed to wait for four weeks before having sex but it probably wasn’t much more than four days - bad bad people lol

Had mine done in January and i love it!

I Had it done in town by a reputable piercer and had no problems at all. No bleeding no pain and was advised no sex for two weeks. (we only made it a week but did it doggy so no rubbing )

Plus side is it feels great when pressure is applied as it lies just above your clit.

Oral sex feels even more amazing.

Downside i had to bin my favourite bullet as metal on metal didnt work too well but i found a great little silicone one that works just as well.

Also sometimes its a little uncomfortable during a long bike ride (I just recently discovered!!)

I would advise her to Go for it as the pro’s are fantastic.

She could just take it out if she doesnt like it.

I’ve had a VCH for years doesn’t really make much difference sex wise but my ex liked it, also have 2 labia piercings they can be fun with the right person. He actually read up about them and he did all of my piercings. Healed really quickly think we waited a couple of days before sex never had a problem with them

Shouldn't. But did. So best be prepared

Mine healed really quick too. I think it was about 4 days for me as well. I rinsed with rock salt in water every time i used the bathroom and after a shower.

When I had mine done, I only spotted a little. They used clamps, but I’ve since learnt that a receiving tube should have been used!

I’m having laparoscopic abdominal surgery soon and have been told I need to remove my VCH and navel piercing for surgery, and not allowed to put in a plastic retainer? I’ve had the VCH for several years, so I may be ok, but the navel is 18 months the old.

I have no idea but judging by how fast my VCH has healed I’d say that it may be quite fast to heal over too due to the high bloodflow there. I had to do the same with my nipple piercing during a recent op and it was fine without a retainer for 40 hours or so. Good luck with it all and let me know the outcome for your piercings as it may be useful to know in the future x
