A shaven pussy

Hey, right so this is mainly just an embarrassing question to women.

When I shave my pussy it always looks good on the day but the next day it’s normally gone red and got a rash or small shaving spots. Does anyone have any advice how to stop this? I always see nice clean shaven pussies on here so it must be possible.

I appreciate any advice even though I’m ery embarrassed to ask!

Nothing to be embarrassed about!

If you’re getting a rash the next day it could be that your shaver is old & is irritating your skin.

Or you need to exfoliate a few days before you shave to prevent ingrown hairs and irritation, and also moisturise a lot before and after.

I shave all the time, exfoliate and moisturise like my life depended on it and don’t get any sorts of lumps bumps & rashes. Sometimes it could be something as simple as having sensitive skin though aswell. X

Not everybody here chooses to get rid of their genital hair, it’s entirely your choice.

Thank you! I’ve tried experimenting with loads of different razors like expensive ones and I still get it, I’ll try moisturising more and see if that helps but I do have sensitive skin. Thank you very much for the advice!

Have you tried using hair conditioner with your razor and different types of razor.

I find men's razors better for my skin, and the more expensive ones.

Try exfoliating daily to get rid of dead skin. I've stopped shaving now as it was causing me all kinds of skin problems.

Good quality conditioner.. Yes CONDITIONER... and a brand new blade you've pre soaked in hot water.

I was very sceptical at first thinking how does conditioner possibly work better than shaving gel/foam

Seriously, it really does. No rash or soreness to be seen

Hair conditioner instead of soap or shaving foam to shave your lady garden.

Does the trick every time. I read that top on here a couple of years ago and stuck with it. Use it on my legs too x

Waxing is deff the best way for a smoother longer lasting result but for me ( mrs ) its the wait in between that drives me mental coz then i walk round with a hairy one for ages but when shaving i use a exfoliating glove which helps with the rash and makes sure all hairs are out of the skin ready for shaving

Shave using baby oil then once you’ve shaved massage in a bit of oil.

Try shaving with coconut oil or almond oil. Always leaves me very smooth and rash free - check my photos for proof!

Use a gents razor too - they seem to be sharper and better quality than ladies.

I never shave it all anyway - but this plus the other advice about exfoliating and moisturising should help.

It’s because the skin dries out... use your best silicone hair conditioner! And a new razor

Never shave against the grain, will cause ingrown hairs and spots . A bit of conditioner as others have said and shave in small strokes towards the centre x

Hove, Brighton

use a fresh blade..hot water to clean the blade and wash the skin with before..and then shave with really good quality Argan oil. it also means you can see what your doing..which you can't with foam or conditioner.

Warm water and conditioner first to soften the hairs, then massage shaving oil over the area and then put the shaving foam on.

Beard rash is caused by shaving against the grain and the pubic area is probably the same...

Shave down the way not upwards.

Get an exfoliating glove and use it every day in shower! ... buy cheap 2 blade razors and use new one every time.. shave with the grain using conditioner... I apply sudocrem for a couple of days after and I never get a rash

We both shave daily, it seems doing it in the shower as part of daily routine keeps irritation down. More likely to get a rash after leaving it a few days.

It's very interesting to learn about the techniques you ladies use to shave yourselves. I didn't realise just how much effort goes into pussy shaving. I'd like to thank you all for your efforts on behalf of mankind. Keep up the hard work ladies! Your shaven pussies are greatly appreciated!!!
