Do you think Snapchat filters should be allowed as they can really alter a face pic quite significantly? What do people think? It’s not much of a problem with other face pics without the filter but when they all have it you have to wonder what they really look like .

Yes they change faces...but I can usually tell that the dog ears aren’t meant to be there

I don’t really mind them, but it bugs me when a guy sends them as their introductory face pic and they look like a fairy. Also, for some reason, bugs me when men use them in general. No idea why

Yeah haha I don’t mean so much the ears . It’s the face it’s almost like having a make over or cosmetic surgery when you see the same person without the filter. No I agree I don’t even have snapchat and I wouldn’t want to use a filter with cats whiskers or something

Yea the filters are a bit ridiculous for adults especially men. Although we do use Snapchat and find it a really good way to see if people are genuine.

I love them the fact i was born with dogs ears and stars floating around me was a real nightmare untill snap chat filters

On a serious note i think there is a time and place for them and yes the ladies seem to be able to pull them off better than men can

The shouldn’t be used on dating sites or sites like these as they alter your appearance.

I like to use one that just brightens the skin. I could do that with makeup but too lazy to spend ages doing it.

For me hair extensions are fine as they at least are real in the sense they will actually have them on same with wonder bra but not changing your face

Hair extensions, wonder bras & contouring is all a little bit different to bunny ears or a flower crown on your head, and your eyes being made bigger, skin lighter & smoother. Snapchat filters can make you look completely different to the reality, to the point where people expect the snapchat filter in person.

Hair extensions, bras and contouring can be kept up on every single date, a bunny ear filter can’t LOL.

Hair extensions, bras & contouring are all an enhancement even though some make up can be incredibly extreme and not needed.

Exactly.

People enhance their beauty everyday from shaving facial hair, to getting their hair styled, wearing make up, getting their bras tattooed etc. We all enhance what we have in some sort of way.

But Snapchat filters give people a false expectation of reality.

It’s the male pouting that gets me the most!

I had a message from someone on here who sent a face picture of themselves with a Snapchat filter with hearts around the head and him pouting. So so so cringe!

I’m just playing devils advocate, but I’ve seen what contouring can do, and it’s a lot more extreme than a snapchat filter (bunny ears and flower crown aside)

To me, they’re a bit of fun, but when every photo is filtered, it does make me wonder about a persons true appearance.

I always have my extensions and makeup on for meets so I would look exactly the same as my photos. Or better actually, I look better in person.

I’ve seen the transformations on YouTube & Instagram with contouring and it’s quite scary how they do it, so I agree there! It must take hours.

They are a bit of fun, I personally love messing about with them on Snapchat & the ones on Instagram! But on a site based on attraction it isn’t the greatest idea to have an album full of them!

Fine if you're a teenager.

Looks ridiculous on adults and even worse when someone uses them on their profile. But on the updide it helps as an extra filter.

If I see them on a profile I assume the person will be immature so helps avoiding them.

Silly analogy. If meeting somebody from a swingers site I would expect them to look pretty much like their pictures. Couldn't care less what's underneath.

I tried it for about a week, once, everytime I opened it I saw a very unflattering version of me, as it showed what my front cam was looking at, so I would exit it straight away lol. I don't wanna see that! Plus trying to have any type of proper conversation was horrific!

Yes as she’s attractive but not all her pics have the filters some show her fa e without filters . As I have said they are fine if you can also see an unfiltered face pic . If I was going on to auto trader and there was an app that the seller took a picture of the car on that made the car look great and scratch free made the wheels look bigger and the colour really vivid and I go to take a look at the car and it’s scratched to Fuck with pram wheels on and faded colour I would feel I was misled to look at that car
