I got a message off a guy today asking me when i was next going to chameleons, dont know him, never spoke but he's obviously seen me there to know i go, so i sent a reply back saying not sure yet, he replied that he had seen me there lots and had always liked me, which i thought was odd

But then i got thinking about just how many of these messages i get, from guys who have seen me at verious clubs, dont talk to me on the night but message me on here the next day, or whenever saying they saw me, thought i looked great and would i like to meet

now call me stupid if you will

but......

whats the point in that?

isnt the point of clubs to go and meet liked minded people, and if you like them play?

what is the point in going, seeing someone you fancy, not talking to them and then seeking them out on here to tell them how much you liked them and would they like to meet

maybe im missing something

I suppose shyness could be the reason. It may be easier for them to strike up a conversation on here as opposed to face to face.

we got recognised in castle court belfast last year, got a random message sayin they seen us and what shop we were lookin in, it was def us as we wouldnt go to often, and i was wearin what they said, i ask why didnt u come say hi they said they did want us to think them weird, sorry i think not talking then messagin is weird lol

i can understand that, i got a message from a guy last week who has seen me in the asda, he mailed me saying he had seen me but didnt say hi and he didnt know if id want someone off here talking to me while i was shopping

that i get

He could of been shy or maybe he couldnt get to you cause of all the guys around you.

I had a message from a guy once who had seen me at chams and he was saying all sorts but freaky as it was though he had just been watching me all night

We have had the same thing, but also from couples, who have seen us at a club, never said hi, then message us the next day on here,i agree strange lol ahh well nowt as queer as folk x

I normally look around, seeing if theres any other guys in the vicinity just in case it the jealous meet,coasts clear so sneak over stick my finger in and if it gets wet am in, if not I move on...no time for the gazing into eyes pish n gabbing ffs

I had mail from young man here saying he see me shoping at tescos and in my black boots and would i be there next week , lol weird shoping thats just boring.

I keep getting him mailing asking when i am there again , he is 23 new and local weird he should see me and on here too ,

I have had this quite a few times too, have had couples and guys messaging me saying they'd seen me in Chameleons and are specific about what I was wearing etc, so I know they did really see me. Ive had two guys on separate occasions come up to me in a club in London and ask whether I was Iconic. It feels quite strange to be recognised. I guess people just feel a little shy at the time

i get this after i've been to la chambre - the most frustrating part is when its been a quiet night and noone has come and talked to me, then the next day i get an inbox full of messages telling me how nice i looked!! ffs i'm a friendly soul and will chat even if i'm not interested to play so say hello if you see me!

i think thats the point im trying to make

i really dont see the point in seeing someone at a club and liking them but not saying hello, even more so if you know them from off here, which they obviously do to be able to go home, open your profile and mail you, fab is a common talking ground, if you see someone off here straight away you have a conversation starter......surely?

i know some say its maybe cause they shy, so your to shy to say.... hello, hey are you *insert name* off fab?.... but not to shy to go home and mail them on here asking for a meet

indeed!

thing is, i'm a very sociable and chatty person. so even if i'm not keen to play you never know who else i will be chatting to and can introduce them to. thats how things work at clubs, you chat to people about something as daft as the weather and two hours later you get beckoned into a room!

also there are friends i've made in clubs who i would have turned down online! so say hello - whats the worst that can happen?? i may say no, but we can still have a giggle and i may then mention you to a friend...
