going threw friends list and local people and just had a thought and wonderd do other people feel the same so many profiles on here with no verifcations or have not been on line for awhile should they be deleted its profiles who have been on here for over year without verifications and have not been on line for awhile that i just dont get rant over now lol

Why should it bother you? Surely people are allowed to use the site as they wish-just because it is different to how you use it doesn't make them any less real swingers or any less legitimate...perhaps they don't care to list their verifications, perhaps they don't care to have them at all...

I'm not looking to meet currently-so won't have any recent verifications...does that mean that i'm not a real swinger or allowed here?

some people cant get meets quickly.. there are loads of single guys out there who wont have a meet in a year (there are enough posts from them lol) so its difficult, and the ones that haven't been online for a year, i agree they should probably have a reminder email dropped to them and profile deleted if no response, only because of the post i saw from the admin about server space. but i'm sure there is alot more stuff going on that is way more important than dead profiles that they have to deal with.

also, if they are on your friends list why havent you verified them?

Have to agree, we know people who don't like using the verfications, but they are still genuine, that's up to them if they don't want to use them, why should they.

Profiles that haven't actually been accessed (ie used) or haven't come on line, could be taken off after a certain time, but that's a different issue.

Its not that hard to suss out people who either aren't genuine, not your type, or who aren't going to meet you simply by using your own powers of deduction and intelligence.

People are free to use the site in which ever they choose.

Not all profiles without verifications are fake, some people just don't like them.

Perhaps some people haven't logged on for a while as they are busy with other things or are taking a break.

And yes, that is fine because a verification is just that, verifying that they are male/female...or both.

Being verified doesnt make you a "Genuine Swinger"....whatever that means!!

you can be verified and dont show whos verified you so you have the green tick to say you are real as of friends on are profile we message people and get to know them maybe add them as friends but if they are on are friends list and not verified and we havent spoken for over say 6 months or had a meet with them then we think about deleting them

Really don't see what the issue is. The site allows you to see when someone hasn't signed in for x months / over a year. No need to delete their profiles as well... maybe they're taking a break, or having kids or not playing for whatever reason.

If they ain't signing on then they can't be messaging you. Just make sure you check their last access date when you message them.

Or is this such an annoyance to you because you mail someone but don't get a reply (because they're MIA)...?

The way I see it is that EVERYONE should be free to use this site as THEY wish.

Having a 'timescale' or 'expiry date' on a profile that will see it deleted if certain users don't get verified either through lack of success or wanting to take their time could be stressful to some.

We had an MMF threesome with a newbie within two days of us joining but we couldn't verify each other because the site works in a way that unverified people can't verify others (not complaining btw). Maybe your 'friends' have met and are in this situation?

Another thing... what if some of the 'owners' of unverified profiles do their swinging via the club scene or other similar sites? ....just a thought or two lol

People have their own personal reasons for not wanting to show verifications.

They may have meets every night of the week but don't want to be though of as sex addicts or hardened swingers.

They may meet lots of bare-back only people but swear by safe sex on their profile.

Last, but definately not least, they may meet only bi, gay or TV's but insist they are straight.

It's all down to personal choice!

How strange that only sinister reasons come into your mind when in reality I expect its nothing of the sort.

I doubt many people fall into the categories you have quoted.

I expect lots fall into the category of:-

If you believe a green tick shows someone is real... can you feed the fairy at the bottom of my garden whilst I am away?

I believe people are free to use the site however they want to... as long as they are not conning anyone or messing people around (and there are plenty with green ticks who do that).

I think it is ridiculous to even imply people who join the site must have done x, y or z within a certain time frame.... this is after all a recreational site, not the tax office.

even people who are verified can mess you about, you have to feel the vibes to see if they are genuine or not, i have found that if a meet is arranged and they are not going to turn up they tend to go quiet a few days before (no texts etc) xx

This site allows for a wide variety of personal choice.

If you don't like people that haven't been verified block them.

If you don't like showing your verification's and are happy that some people may not choose to look at you because of this, that's fine too.

Filters mean that you never have to see or hear from people that don't fit your criteria.

there could be a million reasons why people have no verifications, more so for single guys, its very hard for guys to get meet and all because they have been on here over a year without getting a meet does not mean they do not want one or wouldnt meet if they got an offer from someone they liked

or maybe they have had meets but from unverified people so neither can verify each other

maybe they joined the site just to cam and talk, so long as thats all they saying they are after who they hurting?

Exactly, we fall into that category.

We meet probably once in a blue moon and when we do its usually with some of the good friends we've made through swinging.

Seldom do we meet anyone new, unless at a swingers party, that isn't to say that we won't as we've recently had contact with some lovely couples.

It's just that swinging isn't a big part of our lives and for the most part we just can't be bothered as we have other things taking up our time.

Why are we here then, for the banter on the forums and, now and again, to make contact with the aforementioned couples which may lead to future meets, at a time that suits both parties.
