My husband and I would like to join the swinging world to spice up our sex life. However am dubious. Been together 15 years and feel we have lost what we once had is this a place to start or not? All advice will be gratefully received.

You should start by discussing what you both want out if swinging. Just shagging random people in the hope it’ll save your marriage won’t work.

Theres a plethora of ways from all sorts of meets you could have and does not have to include sleeping with others at first, can do soft swing at first just to see if you both are comfortable?

Just be sure it's what you both want, try soft swing or even venture out into a club together so get a feel of the social scene

Hi OP

We are a really new couple to this lifestyle, and for what our opinion is worth (I am sure there will be lots of other differing opinions). But think it would be best to regain what you have first before introducing anyone else....we have a great sex life and love and trust each other deeply, so we feel that we are at a point now that we want to share that with others. If we didn't then I think it would open a whole new can of worms. How about visiting a club and just playing between yourselves a few times and getting the feel of the lifestyle without any pressure and enjoy each other first? Xx

We have discussed in great length and have a very open and honest relationship. Not doing this to try to save our marriage, just looking for advice. We have both been 100% faithful and we would like to try something new together.

Start by talking to one another about what you hope to fulfill from swinging. Set you boundaries so that you know what each is prepared to do and let the other do (these may change overtime).

Start slowly, never get pressurised into doing anything that you don't want to do.

And most importantly have fun.

I'm not a couple so I don't know if this is Pandora's box you have just tried to open by trying swinging.

Until you are both sure, what I would suggest doing together is visiting the 2 clubs in Scotland. After 8 in Edinburgh and CJ's in Glasgow. That way you can just attend on a social basis to garner more info to allow yourselves to discuss further before diving into anything and maybe causing upset

A club is how we dipped our toes in. We decided to go to a club and we both agreed beforehand that if either of us felt uncomfortable we would leave.

We need not have worried. The club was a safe, pressure free environment where each member is free to take things at their own pace, or even not at all.

Chatting to others in the club about the lifestyle gave us the insight we needed. We were surprised how open and honest everyone was.

For us it was definitely the easiest and best way.

A friend of mine confided that he and his wife wanted to explore the scene,but his wife was nervous on how to start .As an ex photographer he asked me if i would take some photos for them.I took some of her first ,then of them both together .She was so nervous at first but soon got more confident .When she saw how good she looked she agreed to try soft swing.The rest is history they are having a great time .
