I'm guessing that was translated into Serbo-Croat then into Mandarin and back to English.

I don't understand the relevance of someones job on here. Saying you're in the military doesn't make you any more or less attractive to me.. it's the job that you do. That's it.

Well done. Have a medal. If your only selling point is your fancy dress then you probably need to work on your chat up lines.

Check out all the various threads and you'll see some women go weak at the clunge for paras or Marines, even sailors or pe instructors.

Imagine their dissapointment when you confess "Yes I'm in the military, I'm a supply specialist". not the same is it.

We can understand this and totally agree with it to be honest ... However Carl was in the Royal Marines for many years and it's something that defines him and has made him the person he is today. We mention it on our profile because it's important to us and it might tell people a bit more about us.

We realise that people have different ideas about the military and they're entitled to their opinions, but if the OP is getting grief because he's in the military that is fundamentally wrong surely?

If the only way you can get a fuck is by declaring your profession, then I'm not sure they have the right to wear the uniform. Given my family background, If I had joined your army, I'd be unable to pour my kneecaps into these tights.

A postman is no less important than a soldier. A fireman is no less important than a soldier. A doctor is no less important than a soldier.

Wearing the uniform is no entitlement to extra sex. Why trade on it. Let his personality shine through. If he wants to get fucks because of his uniform, HE is turning it into fancy dress.

It is for dying in, not Ironin...

I suppose it’s only relevant if who you are trying to pull has a thing for uniforms!!

Most women I’ve known - platonically and professionally as well as intimately have got wet at the thought of a big hunky fireman (and some at the thought of female fire fighters)!!

But as you say - bakers and bus drivers wear a uniform too!!!

Life defines us all ... we all have different experiences ... it makes us all who we are. But what we do to earn our living doesn't make us better or worse or sexier than the next person surely?

It's how we act, treat and relate to others that matters ... and we are attracted to a person, not what they wear (unless it's sexy lingerie perhaps!!).

There's a certain irony, that you rather harshly state in your profile that you must be able to maintain a 'credible conversation', but it appears that high standards don't have to apply to your own literary skills. Maybe that is why some are not keen on some of the military?
