Sandals Couples Only Resorts

Hi everyone

I was wondering if these Sandals Couples Only Resorts in places like the Caribean are a hot bed of action? Are they like the Butlins in the UK?

Anyone had any experience of heard anything about them?

The Sandals, Negril, Jamacia seemed reasonably straight laced when I visited. Well except the pronounced smell of drugs at one end of the resort and the chainlink fence through to Hedonism at the other.

We stayed at the Royal Bahamian on in the Bahamas. Didn't see or hear of anything happening when we were there.

To be honest I think the places are overpriced. We've stayed in much nicer places for a lot less money.

They a sold as adult only as in a child free environment.

They are amazing, we married at Sandals Antigua, like all places it’s there ifvyou look for it.

Been a few times and all very straight laced.... sex on the beach and fucking in the pool is about it )

Been to Couples resort in Jamaica (close to Hedonism2). It was fantastic and really good naturist beach. But no obvious action.

We wouldn't comment if we hadn't been.

No we didn't like the Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas, not up to scratch for the price we paid, service and room issues. Now Cap Maison in St Lucia, different story so, yes, go elsewhere in our humble opinion based on our one time experience albeit.

Sandals is very straight laced and the opposite of a "lifestyle" resort. Hedo is (was, I went under the old ownership regieme in 2010) the place you want.

You should investigate the Desire resorts in Cancun. We are going to Desire Pearl in February. To get some idea of what it is like listen to Wegottathing podcast on stitcher and other podcast sites.

You can get a few days stay at Hedo if you are in a neighbouring hotel along the beach - will cost you but you can see it and will tempt you. Was going to go after emailing them but got badly sunburned due to going on a little boat on the sea with not enough sun lotion on
