Which do people prefer? Silicone based lube or waterbased based lube (especially when used with latex free condoms)

Burnleyish (She/They)

Silicone for me. Water based just goes sticky as opposed to nice and slidy.

Depends on what I’m using it for... Water based for vaginal play and silicone for anything anal.

(:

Ok its only ever for vaginal but the latex free condoms can get really dry so its just finding the right thing to go on

silicon lube can badly affect any silicon toys and I found it gets too hot with friction...

water based for us even for anal-liquid silk doesn't dry out or go sticky like something like KY does...KY sucks...

Silicon every time. Doesn't wash off in the water when we fuck in the hot tub and turns Suzie's arsehole into a hot slippery paradise

I prefer WD40. It comes with the clever smart straw now too.

Water base all the way

It’s advised for anal play ....

Asda do a tube their own brand for £2.35 ... I like how it’s easy dispensed .... the sachets you get from GUM clinic ... always leave a sticky mess as pour out into everything and I never use a full sachet anyways x x

So I always use and always recommend ID lubes, without a doubt the best lubes I’ve found.

They’re waterbased isn’t sticky at all. Down side of waterbased is our bodies absorbe it, so it will dry up.

So unless I’m using silicon toys, I always go with silicon lube.

Though one thing I do, put a little bit of silicon lube on the pussy/arse, then use water based lube, the silicon lube acts as a barrier to stop absorption of the water.

Wow. Very technical.
