I can see why you don't like them.

Second of all it's preference.

Thirdly.

Most people do so, and when they do it's fine. but when people like me do it's offending?

my advice If you don’t mind me saying so. I would think about your profile and would you meet someone who have the same profile

We all have preferences. I have them on mine. There is a way to word it that doesn’t come as aggressive or obnoxious. Not saying yours does but but it could be worded a lot better.

I would say do a few things, have a read of other men’s profiles that post on the forums. Most of them are pretty well written, also have a read of couples / single women profiles and see what they are actually looking for

Think of your profile like a CV!!!

Also have a search there is a lot of threads on profile improvement!! Have a read and maybe try to have a go at changing yours!!
