Where do you live?! I have not met one person who thinks anyone's skin colour is taboo. It is just not in this day and age. It does not even take being that open-minded to know that.

I don't think it's a question of being 'cosmopolitan', it's just a question of it being the 21st century!

I'm from the frozen north west, probably about as un-cosmo as you can get within the UK, but race per se isn't a defining factor for people any more. Fair enough, if someone's appearance isn't your cup of tea, that's fine, and I completely get that someone's ancestry might have a bearing on whether or not they tick your boxes, but that's no different for having a preference of a disdain for redheads, brunettes or any other physical appearance.

I love the colour contrast and it's great to play around with in photography afterwards, especially if you modify the photos to black and white.

I was only 5 in 1998 so I can’t comment haha!

But it certainly isn’t “accepted” by everyone that’s a fact. I’d go as far as to say a lot of the older generation are the ones with old fashioned views and ones who seem to have an issue more of an with it in my experience.

Of course there are also people who are downright racist of all ages who don’t agree with it, there’s enough comments online to show that.

I’d guess those who don’t see it have either never been in an interracial relationship or they are very very lucky to have never come across one single person with the views I’ve mentioned, I’ve come across dozens in my time!
