Walking away from meets

Have you done it? Why?

I did recently......i had arranged to meet a couple. Spoke on the phone and everything sounded great. Despite being a single lad im not the "shag anything with a pulse" type. I am on FAB for a particular reason and so prefer to meet socially first.

This couple didnt want to do that for "discretion" and so i was invited straight around to there house. Nice area and nice estate.

I love the buz of a new meet, the butterflies and anticipation as you walk to the meeting place are a huge rush.

So, i knock in the door and a greated by hubby and shown down corridor and into lounge. The house stunk to high heaven of dog. I went into the living room where wife was looking very nice in a black dress and heels. (hubby had made zero effort). Also in the living room two huge alsations and a blow up bed with a sheet on it.

I am a dog lover so sat on the sofa and made a fuss of them before i expected them to be shown out of the room. The whole set up had alarm bells ringing.

After pleasentries wifey sits beside me (very clean and attractive lady), we have a kiss and a fumble. Dogs still there by the way..... Any way she parts my legs and gets on her knees between them, knowing whats about to happen i cant believe these dogs are still there. I said "whoa before you go getting my all hard i'll need to nip to the car, ive left my condoms in there" i was up and outta there.

Weird

Why not just ask that they put the dogs out of the room?? Surely that would have been simple enough and less wierd than doing a bunk like that.

"Why not just ask that they put the dogs out of the room?? Surely that would have been simple enough and less wierd than doing a bunk like that."

It would appear that way from my OP.

I clearly didnt emphasize the smell and untidyness of the place. The blow up bed being ready is presumtuous enough (they where shagging regardless of any connection or who came tgrough the door) but the filthyness of the sheet was rediclous. It was like that was there regular friday night routine. When the single guy leaves tge just pack up before bringing it out unwashed the following week.

I take pride in my appearence and that includes my personal hygene but also that of my home. Especially with people coming around.

Anybody else had any bad experinces of peoples homes???

Im no snob but do like a well kept lady and nice environment for fun

I met a young lad in a pub, he was a nice boy but he had really bad breath and a stain on his jumper. Nothing worse than bad breath. Someone i knew said he would take me back to his place. Downstairs was ok but upstairs wasnt very clean, there was no carpet on the floor and it was freezing cold, like a dungeon.

Yes I've done it, without putting names............met in a pub to find the fem' half of the couple had no idea I was gonna be there and was more than a little miffed at my surprise arrival, the mood took a bit of a nosedive and I got such bad vibes I thought it best I bailed out after I'd finished my drink.

Definately agree with you OP and your decision is to be backed by us.

We had one guy come late, a last minute thing and looked nothing like his pics, appeared rather umkempt and was a little bit overly on glaring at the missus which was very offputting.

We apologised for wasting his time and he knew that she wasn,t attracted to him, he actually apologised for 'losing his bottle' by being a bit intimidated by how good she looked.

All in all a nice guy, we felt shitty but dignity and respect was maintained by all.

Lesson learned for all.

Yes - happened to me a few weeks back.

I spent a long time messaging and phoning the fem half of a couple - agreeing that it would be just her and me playing. She made a big thing of "respecting people's boundaries"...

I said that I was happy for her hubby to be in the house, so that she felt safe, but we both agreed that we just wanted fem-on-fem time.

We started playing in private, then I suddenly felt his hand creeping up my leg and there he was, naked and obviously expecting to be in on things.

I just threw on my outer clothes and was out of the door without even speaking! I felt sick....

I was so mad that if anybody had spoken, I'd have ripped his balls off with my bare hands!!!

I'm very happy to play with guys - but when I'm in the mood and have arranged it.

They had obviously planned this together -did they really think that I was just going to accept it???

turned a meet away at the door when the 2 guys(one who I had previously met and a mate of his who I had also been chatting with) I had planned on having a 3some with decided to bring along a mate and had not said anything about it,despite them texting me several times on their way to mine...just because I wanted a 3some did not mean I was interested in just having a random guy added to the mix

Oddly the OP didn't decide the house was too smelly and the sheet on the blow up bed too grubby until after a snog and a fumble from the wifey.... hmmmmm.

Odd indeed.

The wife was really pretty. I wanted the meet to happen. But the hygene got the better of me. In reality these things all happen quicker and your not thinking clearly

we had a single male drive away from us once....

Chatted on cam for a bit, decided to meet at local pub. Met there and had a drink and good chat. Agreed to go back to our place and he would follow us in the car.

All happy and smiley we drove with him following, got to traffic lights to go straight over and he turned right and sped off back to Essex

I agree, rather shabby behaviour.

Personally, I'm always aware of hygiene and if the smell was as bad as alleged I wouldn't have been going through the door, let alone see the state of the sheets.

Sounds all rather strange to me.

This really made me laugh. Yeah, you are right. It's very weird! I can actually "see" the Alsatians sitting and watching!! What I wouldn't give to know what they were thinking..Probably "Oh here we go again, is it Friday night already!!"..

Dog smell should have been the first sign to get out of there!! Oh well, we live as we learn, don't we?

Still that made me laugh

Met a couple where the wife turned up dressed lovely, he had on an anorak covered in dog hair, unshaven, old tatty jumper and work boots. She anounced that he'd not said they were meeting anyone.Had a drink with them and turns out the wife was great company, but because she had been in the dark about the meet, we told the guy that no way were we playing, and it would be better to maybe chat with his Mrs before he met anyone else. She actually e,mailed later to ask if we'd like to meet up with her alone!

Maybe you should just say you got nerves and ask to see them again, but this time in a hotel room.

Don't think I would want to do anything sexual, with dogs watching or in the room, might decide to have a snack on your "bits"

If people live in a "tip" what is their personal hygiene like?

Inflatable bed with dirty sheet on it, yuck.

You did right to make a get away. But you should have maybe told them, no thanks, i am off. Left a pan on the cooker.

had a guy who had been asking to meet for ages, finally agreed to meet, he showed up early so I was just out of shower just went back up to finish getting ready...he asked if he could see my tits first,I said I would just be a minute...from downstairs he says "you got condoms?I forgot some" I said yes...about 30 sec later he says "um,a bit awkward...but I am going to go if that's ok." and heard the door close...lol

Similar thing happened to us, but more of a role reversal. We met a guy at ours, just for a social meet, drink and a chat, all made quite clear in ad and messages between us.

He turned up and both of us had made an effort, me shave n shower aftershave etc shirt n trousers. Her dressed very sexily with killer heels. We knew strt away not our type but out of politeness had a drink and began small talk. I then had to go to the loo, as soon as i left the room he did a quick Vic Reeves impression and tried to shove his hands up her frock.

He was told in no uncertain terms where to go by her lol. Then when i came back i could sense the tense atmosphere. He then said had to go get his blackberry out of his car.

She told me what had happened and we waited for the inevitable wheel squeal as he left. Before he did just that he did send a txt saying "no chance of a fuck tonight then?" lol.

great posts. dead funny. we had one once who seemed ok, not scruffy but a bit dim, suzie took the initiative and pulled his cock out on the back seat and gave it her sniff test. first i knew was when she said "if you cant be bothered to wash it you can fuck off". not funny at the time but laughed our heads off later.he took the subtle hint and scurried away.

this is why i always have a social meet first - inside the pub/coffee shop so they can't do a runner and leave me standing in the cold. and if they're staying in a hotel i meet in the bar even if its just for five mins to be sure we both want to take things further.

have said thanks but no to quite a few guys and managed to stay on good terms with pretty much all of them - and those who don't take it well are less likely to cause a scene in a public place.

all of this after a meet in the worst kind of student house. no carpets, the bed was a mattress on the floor. he invited me to sit on the bed next to him but the sheets looked like they'd shatter if i did! i said i needed the bathroom to give myself a chance to work out what to say and i have never seen anything so filthy!!!

the worst thing was the abusive text messages i got for the next few days for leading him on...

Or perhaps even be sensible and behave accordingly - it was made clear it was a social meet and he waited until terry left the room to try and have an unwelcome grope. But hey if we were disrespectful

Dear god! i get embarased if there's a mess when someone comes to check the gas meter!! if i've actualy invited soemone round i always seem to spend hours cleaning, especialy the bathroom

As for going out to meets! i'f you'll have a shower and shave when you go out into town to meet your matesa to get pissed, then why on earth wouldn't you do at least that when there's a chance you might get laid???

guy's/girl's if you cant stick your hand in your pants and be willing to smell it yourself, what on earth makes you think someone else wants to!

It's amazing how people decide only to meet via a social, but you would have never known what to expect from that social regarding dirty sheets, blow up beds and smelly dogs.

We always prefer hotel meets.. you know its gonna be clean(ish)..lol

I have only had it happen to me once and that was about 10 months ago. I had arranged to meet a guy purely social for a coffee in a hotel bar. So I drove to this hotel, but I turned into the wrong entrance and had to park abit of a distance with it being dual carriageway etc. So am getting texts of this guy saying if you hadnt want to turn up you should have said. To me replying am on my way. Anyhow I get there and sat in the bar waiting for him to turn up. He still keeps sending the same texts saying are you turning up, to me replying am bloody here. So I walked out after 10 mins. He put on his status, oh what a slag, lucky escape. Turned out he had seen someone who he thought had been me before I got there and legged it. Anyone who knows me would testify that I never ever dress slaggy, apart from in the bedroom of course . Few messages/mail passed between us where he proved he had been there and so did I. He wanted to meet again, I just blocked him. He wasted my time and with a attitude like that I didnt want to meet someone like that. I just learnt a few lessons from that incident. I was only just starting out as a single swinger after being in the cocoon of a couple swinging relationship

We had our first 'at ours' meet the other week - we cleaned the house from top to bottom, cleared all the clutter from the bedroom and changed the bedding!!

No excuse for slovenliness!! Yuk - you were right to leg it, dogs or no dogs!!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I just remembered one where I didn't really walk away, but I told him to. We met in a pub for a drink and he stank of onions (this was after he asked me what not to do and one of the things I asked was to not eat garlic before we met). I'd already told him it was a social meet mainly due to the fact it was time of the month for me.

He kept asking me back to his, even though I'd said no already. At one point he told me to 'shut my cakehole'. When he started whining again about why I wouldn't go back to his I stated in no uncertain terms that if he was having trouble with the word 'no' at a social meet then I was seriously worried what he would be like in bed, and said I was not interested, ever. He left with his tail between his legs.

He texted me about a week later asking for another chance but I ignored him, and blocked him on here. Gave me the creeps.

Myself a fuck buddy and another couple arranged for a single guy to come, who had told us he was local. His pictures were fantastic and he had the wow factor. So we set about playing waiting for him to arrive. He eventually came about 2 hours later and walked straight into my house without knocking (which i found rude) and when i asked who he was as he certainly wasnt the guy in the pictures, his reply was he had come from wales to shag 2 biatches!!!!!!! WRONG MOVE so i told him that he was not the guy in the pics and that i was not prepared to play with him and this was reiterated by the other lady in the room. Well he took a right strop on saying he had drivin 2 and half hours and then stormed out slamming doors on the way out. And yes we could have webcammed but it was a last minute.com meet and he had verifications saying his pictures DIDNT do him justice. But i would have no qualms in walking away from a meet or sending someone away, after all its my body and i respect it.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

You only get one chance to make a first impression....

I'd arranged to meet a lady we were to go to a social , travel stay etc, , I'd had a bad day at work running way behind late wasn't even close, , particularly bad job, I called to say I was going to be late , I turned up rather disheveled, not sweet smelling, rightly so she excused me ,, I was gutted , I'd ruined her weekend and mine lesson learnt the hard way,...

no second chances to make a first impression...

Samantha and I are just round the corner so it's only a short walk home for me, if you and Samantha decide to kick me out, because either one of you thinks I don't look like my pictures.....

Social meet, social meet, social meet, always first.

But still no guarantee, but at least you know if they are clean and tidy

i agree every does have the rights to walk away

but we do not have the rights to be disrespectful of people feeling just because its a swinging site

ok they may not have been the most tidy people and ok they may have been a bit dim to think its ok to leave dogs around while your playing but that does not make them bad people, or nasty people, they invited you to their home and, in their eyes, made an effoer for you, it just means their standardas are lower than yours

saying your just going to the car and driving off is unfogivable, she must have been really hurt and sat wondering what was wrong with her for you to do that

you would have been better just being honest and telling her

i think it was a cruel thing to do

They might appear clean and tidy, until you get to meet them at theirs and they have dirty sheets, smelly dogs thats dont get put outside or in another room and a blow up bed in the lounge

Social meets will not guarantee you anything except the fact you get on with them... socially.

Rushden

I am a bit perturbed to read of the quick exit, even worse because the situation was know as soon as the guy arrived..

We had one meet where it was late at night and we chatted to a fairly local guy. We decided to ask if he wanted to come round and he said yes… We then asked how long it would take him to get ready and get to us, we also explained there was no rush. He said he was ready and would be with us in 15 minutes…

When he arrived, he was scruffy, but as he’d made the effort we invited him in for a drink. As he walked past me, he smelt really bad, as though he hadn’t had a bath or shower for weeks! I stopped him there and then and told him it wasn’t happening and he asked why!

Needless to say he didn’t hang around once we’d told him! And that is just one of the reasons we don’t meet single guys anymore…

I think some of these stories are why I won't meet at my place on a first meet. I've turned a guy down because of his bad breath just didn't have the heart to tell him, it was bad though

"Yes - happened to me a few weeks back.

A reason why I don't play with couples that have separate profiles

I guess i've been lucky i always meet at mine and so far so good! I always say to anyone i'm arranging a meet with that if i don't fancy a play it won't happen and if you feel you don't want to play just say! end of! You don't have to be rude or hurtful just say its not gonna happen if asked why say i'm not sure why i'm just not feeling like it. Making an excuse and doing a runner is rude and immature no need unless the situation is extreme like feeling unsafe!
