Not sure how long you've been around the scene but you'll learn people are fickle and shallow.

Some as said before expect you to drop everything and if you fail then someone else gets a go.

Hopefully when you mentioned other commitments you didn't suggest you were meeting another couple or individual? Many like to feel you're only seeing them and blow the fantasy then they're off. Of this is the case use a different excuse such as work or you've planned a trip.

You're not in a relationship with them so accept that when meeting others that each meeting is a bonus and be ready to move on when it's no more so take it while you can.

I've been in the game since I was 19 and you need to see it a tea cup ride at the fun fair. Others will join your circle then drift away where your ready bump into your next.

I've met some great people some for over 5 years then boom, vanished with no reason or explanation.

Dwell on it and it'll screw with your head. Get back in and see where the rabbit hole takes you next.

You win some.. you loose some..

When we're not in committed relationships with people, despite seemingly strong friendships, we have to let others get on with living their lives as they need to. Life can be complex and tough at times, so breaks and pauses are needed.

Allow your breaks from others to be refreshing for you and a reminder of how no strings sex can mean that people come and go at different rates points.

Or were you, secretly hoping form ore from one of them.

If a couple we'd played with blocked us, we'd spend about a minute wondering why then move on.

You weren't in a relationship with them, you were each others sex toys, guess they got a new one or maybe felt like you were getting way too invested, it feels like that from here.

Yeah, it happens. But, you just got to move on. Sometimes, one of them has the huff or has other ideas on what they’d like. Don’t speak to each other about and you’re like the third wheel that gets the arse end of it all.
