How many of you, would be interested in meeting someone who is a lot younger than you?

We will meet people over 20 years younger than us but no more than that.

The easiest way to answer your question is to do a search for people in your area looking for your age group.

I don't think there will be all that many results but at each end of the age spectrum on fab the pond we fish in is smaller.

Quite frankly it's attitude that makes for a good meet over age. We are getting towards the mature end I guess but we have met others both older and younger and had fun.

On the other hand experience tells us we have more fun more often with those within a few years either side of us!

So never say never!

I prefer meets with people of similar age, they do go better, but I wouldn't rule out someone younger, or older,

So long as they are reliable and fun.

As many others have commented it is more about attitude than age, although I wouldn’t really be looking for anyone more than 20 yrs younger, and possibly 5 yrs older as a rule.

Fully agree. In past few years I have met with people from 20 to 70. It often takes a lot of chatting or a meet first with the younger ones to get to understand the maturity etc.

So OP you shouldn't have a problem providing you are patient.

So far, we've never asked anyone in a club for ID, so if you can hold a conversation in a club and don't look like you're still in year 9 then this could be the way to go.

A few years older than our eldest adult child is about right for me, so mid-40s, Mr. might say a little bit younger than that.

Yes, fully agree with that.

I have rejected meets with people over 40 that just didn't seem 'mature' enough. There are always exceptions. Was just trying to say that for me as one of the 'older generation' as quoted by the OP I will be more searching in my look for maturity in younger meets than i would be for the 40+ people.

Not sure at 45 I'd class myself as 'the older generation ' but most of my meets have been with guys considerably younger, most have come across far more mature than some of the 'older ' guys
