has anyone ever met a "hardened swinger"?

what does that phrase actually mean?

To me it indicates someone who is very cold, clinical, and jaded on a meet - rock up, rocks off, fuck off.

But including parties and socials, I've met literally hundreds of swingers over the years and never met anyone who is even remotely like that.

maybe I've got the definition wrong - anyone got a better one?

its pretty relative:

its possibly a term aimed at those who dont want ANYTHING other than the fuck.They dont care about the website,verifies,pics etc etc.

cant say im adverse to meetings like that but I see having different types of meets being my way of swinging

I think of the term hardened swinger as a person who has been swinging for quite a few years, whose social life centres regularly around swinging, is on various sites and is someone used to the swinging lifestyle.

I would say that hardened swingers are possibly the ideal meet. They understand the trials and tribulations of swinging, they are unlikely to suffer jealousy, they are likely to turn up and are more likely to be reliable and embarcing of the importance of good social skills as well as good sex

the problem is lots of meets over what time period... it is so subjective as like ms puddlefuck says I think it is use as a derogatory term...

so anyone who goes to lots of parties and socials could fall into those terms.. i just see it as such a social thing I love it... community...

or are we talking about hardened as in no emotion... cold and clinical... i have to like the people i play with, so where does that leave me?

Its become derogatory because of the word hardened, which suggests cold, clinical, lacking in emotion. Replace the word hardened with established and lots would be happy to put their hand up to admit to being that.

I have been swinging for about 18 months so whilst not exactly new, compared to some who've been swinging for years, have profiles on various other swinging sites or those who have lived most of their sexual lives with an element of swinging involved, then I don't fall into those categories.

Oh I don't know, like most have said, this is all subjective

Its a term that can mean different things to different people.

I have said this before, and I will say it again - YOU are the person who defines what the term 'Swinger' means to you, no one else on the scene has the right to define it for you.

In general terms it is perceived to mean people who also want and hope to get full sex every time they have a meet or go clubbing, but as I said, that is what it means in general terms to many not always all.

But the one further up from someone who has left the site saying their view on a hardened swinger is someone who sits on cam showing their torso. I find that post abit of a silly comment.

There are the posts that say they think a hardened swinger is someone who meets many in a short time. Well I personally dont agree with this either. The people who posted that, well lets say a newbie comes on the site and looks at their profile. Lets say they have been on the site for a couple of years with perhaps only 10 meets. Well I could imagine that newbie would consider those profiles hardened swingers in their eyes.

So I go back to what Jem said and have the same view.
