now lets me honest it doesnt matter but its damn annoying and tonight is the sexond time for me..... someone contacts and asks questions etc we go back and forward right up to the last messages before meet and out the blue blocked...... some people just like to play games?

Sorry to hear that.

Some people might be playing games, but that's most likely a tiny minority, I would suspect most of the time it's simply because they chicken out.

It's pretty easy for people to be confident online, and as a result they can often talk themselves into doing things that they don't actually have the confidence to go through with in the real world.

That happened to me too just last week. What is it with people that they can't have the balls, deacency, and manners to at least explain why and communicate. It has to be the most frustrating part to this whole thing... I feel for you

Sorry op but I can top yours!

Been chatting for weeks to a guy who contacted me and swore he was looking for a serious, loving swinging relationship! Swapped loads of messages and lots of information that one wouldn’t normally for a meet (because it was supposed to be the prelude to a relationship) - including pics of course!

Swapped loads of messages today until I was ready and about to set off to the pub he suggested - then he blocked me - pretty much as I was about to get into the car!

Classy guy!

It Happens and it's annoying. I remember when on as a couple we were getting messages till we got 5 mins from the house. We turned up and they had blocked us.

Hi you didnt say whether it was a man/ woman TV etc who contacted you and whether it was in response to your messaging. Typically,women don't respond as you have bags and bags of competition. Couples don't either (don't call us we'll call you). Which leaves men....in whatever guise.

Yes they may have just got cold feet and backed out,but that would mean seemingly unanswered messages. Probably were talking to several and just picked someone else. Blocking is usually for pests or someone of no interest. No harm chatting though.

If it was a message out of the blue,whatever they claim to be,it was a bloke.

This happened to me only the other day. A couple I have been chatting with then out the blue blocked me. Very frustrating just be honest.

Oh yes,couples. Fickle. So much choice of foot soldier blokes they can't make up their minds. Drop you when something shinier come along. Almost inevitable. Gave up on couples years ago.

Then they moan that they can't find anyone reliable. Wonder why.

I’ve messaged loads of people first and I’m not a bloke. Bit of a sweeping statement there.

Well we all stereotype. Think I may have had 2,but probably 1 unsolicited message from a genuine woman in 4 years here.

Of the many dating sites I've been on I think it's probably 4 but one was from an ex.

So 1 may be 2 a year max.

So,sweeping statement or not,women don't make the first move. And why should they have to when everyone is flocking to them. Ìts human nature. Same for the rest of the animal kingdom.

On a positive note people on fab are more inclined to chat than anywhere else. Perhaps we're all very down to earth reasonable types.

I'd put money on it being a bloke. Had similar from a so called woman in my early days on here. Messages right up to the point where I was on the way to the arranged meet, then blocked.

I'm wiser now and I've honed my spider senses lol.

We find it amazing how many "couples" disappear as soon as you say - "why don't we all chat on the phone and swap details of the meeting then" - NEVER arrange a meet unless chatted on phone to all parties - why wouldn't that be possible?
