Friend invite

london

Continue to be amazed how many people ( well men but lets move on ) send friend invites without even saying hi, we wouldn’t accept an invite from a quick chat anyway unless it’s clearly going to be a meet. Not saying we have rules but surely an incoming invite with absolutely no chat= block. Interested to hear what level of interaction means you add friends. Would be nice to see who has you on hotlist though, a middle ground but we digress.

I either leave the invite there - it means they can’t add you again for a while, or accept them when they’re offline, fab some friend only pics then delete them

I think it’s rude as well OP x

I just delete them. I usually get one again from the same people sooner or later. One guy in particular sends me a friend invite several times a week. We have never met or even chatted.

I don't block as I save that for people that have been rude or inappropriate.

I don't do this but I can think of a reason why. If someone has their pics set to friends then people want to know what they look like before initiating contact. If your pictures are already public then I guess it's just another way of getting your attention.

We get invites from all the different available categories and = block.

Friends as a concept is pretty vacuous even with people we've met in our opinion.

I never used to send friend invites

I probably had 5 on my list max

Then I did an experiment and started sending friends invites .

I now have about 30 in my list

So.....

Not everyone minds being invited as a friend .

I'm guessing it gives them a chance to look at your photos and there's yours .

I don't think it's being rude ad also you don't have to accept the invite .likewise once accepted if there's no atraction or communication you can remove them from your friends list

To me it's no big deal ....

Hi . Would you care to be my friend

It's just an introductory request .

Don't the 'fabs' get deleted with the delete?

How many hundreds have you had to send to get 30 to say yes?
