I am so pissed off reading comments such as we are dirty immoral disease infested judging. Don't they know how serious we take our sexual health serious. I wonder how many non swingers have cheating partners and I wonder how many of normal non swinging singles get there sexual health tested on a regular basis, How many go out on a "vanilla night" and don't bother to use protection.

Seriously, brilliant interview and very well portrayed. I can't understand why some are ragging on Eammon! His style is to make a big joke out of everything and that is what makes him so good. Not once did he decry their lifestyle and I thought Ruth was fan-bloody-tastic!

trouble with vanillas is that they pigeon hole sex in the same emotion as love thinking the 2 emotions go hand in hand .... well hello .... it is actually 2 different emotions ... in our case, we make love with each other and have sex with other people

Perhaps at 11.30 am it was a bit much to expect a proper interview from Eamonn Holmes and his wife, how they can call themselves journalists is beyond me.

The couple interviewed made the best out of a bad occasion but like others in this thread I believe the repercussions for the couple, Tease II and swinging in general could be very serious.

The owners of Tease II have already lost one club due to overbearing authorities, lets hope they don't loose this one. Until now most police and council authorities, interpreted the laws regarding brothels so as not to include swinging clubs or parties. If the decision by one particular police authority in Essex becomes president it may mean that any house swingers party or club be classed as a brothel and any site such as fab could be charged with soliciting and for living of immoral earnings.

Just watched the interview on itvplayer & like most others thought they came across very well. Fair play to them for having the guts to do it. Hope everything turns out well for them after doing so. Well done _exytwo_x. It's only if more people like them are brave enough to speak openly and honestly in public that the whole 'swinging lifestyle' will be accepted, or at least openly tollerated, by wider society. Not that we should have to of course. And anyway, would it be as much fun if it wasn't seen to be as naughty as it is?! Still, that's a whole other thread in itself! Like I said, good work!

What effect you are expecting for us UK swingers?

I know you said you have done it, I would also be interested to know which couple you were! All the interviews I have seen, read and listened to until today were conducted very badly by the swingers involved!

We are well known in the local area as swingers and that is why we don’t accommodate. Others who arrive at our door would be tarred with the same brush. Never had any problems with the press, so why should I expect that now

One last thing.. Tease2 have already invited the press into the club on a party night. No mystique and no need for subterfuge. Looks like the press have lost interest since the News of the Screws went tits up!

How many vanilla people will have sex with a work college at an office party this year ?

Yet if you are a swingers and go out to a club to play openly together and not behind each other backs and happy to know your partner is safe and having a good time theirs something wrong with you !

Thanks to swinging we have a closer Marrage and a excellent social life and some fantastic friends who we keep in contact with not just when we looking to play but as a true friends their for each other for the good time and the bad.

We have to agree that this interview was very positive and I doubt there will be anything majorly negative to come from it for any of the parties involved.

The couples family obviously know what they get up to, and they are living in Holland where people talk about swinging openly more than anywhere else in the world.

The club itself has little to fear, the police and authourities already know they exist and Stu and Nikki have been through all this before, personally we think its good the club got mentioned, as all clubs are stuggling for business at the moment and if it brings them more in, so much the better for them, for us and for the scene in general.

The simple fact is, even though there will always be people out there willing to judge (As there would be in any walk of life wether the subject is relgion or politics) there are also a huge number of people who are interested in the scene and don't know where to start.

Having also seen pretty much all the other media coverage of the scene, and I dont think it was all bad (The older couple on the channel 4 series came across very well) we got pretty lucky with these guys too, it was good that it was the female taking the lead, and it was also good that they were a younger couple, both of which will go a long way to distilling pre-conceived ideas about people.

Slowly but surely Swinging is becoming less of a dirty word. Think of where we were with the Homosexual population 30 years ago. Things will change slowly, but they will change and this can only help.

But to be fair, Rugby, the interviews were totally different! Sexytwo were talking about swinging and Pimpachimp's, interview which we have just watched was about a woman who can't get enough sex and she admitted to cheating! No wonder there was a backlash!

I know we on this site are always supposed to accept the "Each to their own" principle, but I know which I would choose to advertise the scene!

I can't remember her admitting to cheating but if she did it sounds like it was in the past and her hubby is fine with it now and thats all that matters.

When we get married we have already planed a swingers reception at Tease, we have been regs there for over 2 years and have lots of friends there. So a reception there just for our swinging friends would be great already got outfit, just need the proposal now. Unfortunatly i was invited to the wedding of the two sexy Op's but couldnt make that night. They came across very well, unfortunatly silly eamon couldnt stop asking silly questions what a plonker lol

it seeems whatever the subject matter he seems to to want to get in and ask silly questions and interupt all the time!,

his brain unfortunatly does not re-act so quick and he gets stuck trying to find the words!,you would have thought by now he would learn to step back and listen and try not to look such a prat?,but no!,he bumbles on and tries to take over programme!.

I saw the interview on I plaer afterwards as we missed it.

It was pretty decent, I did not think that the interviewers where that bad either. It would be naive to think that questions such as how will you handle issues with kids etc was not going to come up.

With it being daytime viewing it was always going to have an element of back of the classroom tittering.

During the interview Mr Homles makes a comment on how lovely Nina looked, thought, well there you go, most people can say someone looks sexy, it does not mean they want to dump the one they are with and run off with the other. For me thats the same with swinging. You can say I fancy x,y and z. Just because you are going to fuck them does not mean you are going to run off with them.

Also when they were saying that they could not understand how you can love someone but have sex with someone else. My retort would have been, well do you only love your wife because of the sex she gives you. Love is more than sex and the 2 should not be confused. Sex can be an expression of love but so can holding hands, it does not mean you are going to stop holding hands or giving pecks on the cheek to others.

But then it's always easier to come up with answers 3 days after the event, when your not in a room full of cameras with millions of people watching you.

So to be fair to the couple and the interviewers it was as balanced as you could hope for.

Just a pitty the editors got in by sifting the replies back into the show.

But hey guns don't kill people swingers do.
