If your not interested in single guys then change your profile to suit.

So many couple have singles guys selected on their profile so that they appear in couples for single guy searches. Simply change your profile to reduce unwanted mail from single guys.

From our point of view it stops us reading through long profile only to read (and iylt is usually right at tge very end) "not interested in single males"......so why have it on your profile then????? That is just as infuriating for us as it is for you recieving mail after mail from single guys.

I must confess it does get on my tits when I see shouty NO SINGLE MALES!!! profiles when all they need to do is uncheck the box and activate the filter and never be bothered again.

Just comes across as negative, lazy and dimwitted to me.

At least they make it clear tho - I recall contacting a couple last year who said on their profile that they enjoyed mmf, and had the "men" box ticked, only to receive a very snidey reply along the lines of never meeting single guys as its not "proper" swinging (whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean).

I wonder how many put that on the ad really mean, NO SINGLE MALES (but mail anyway as it boosts my ego).

maybe they are the ones who do the pick and choosing as opposed to the other way round...

maybe they are appealing to ones they have already met and opposed to new ones...

maybe they meet them in clubs as opposed to on here...

maybe its a million different reasons that you don't need to concern yourself with.....

stress over the things you can control rather than the way that others do their thing.....

TBF, many couples do like to meet, or are open to meeting single guys, but they want to contact the single guy not the other way around. So will put "No Single Guys" however they do still want to be open to contact from them

If you de-select the single men, then you cannot see who looks at your profile, so you cant see the guys that look at you (to see if you like them)..

Obviously then there are the types that dont use their filters correctly..

I'm pretty sure you can - I don't have men selected but still see them on my looked at me list ....... in fact its mostly bloody men lol!

Probably because you are one. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to see you own profile..lol

if you go into your message filters and put on the "not looking for single men" option... they all magically disappear...

granted no more men can mail you... but such is life...

OP if you don't like reading to the end of profiles then you are going to have problems here.

i have made a number of mates here,some are single men,so i dont tick the no single males box.Fortunatly the people i want to get to know appreciate the fact that reading isnt a chore

I am perfectly happy reading whole profile and its not a chore in the slightest. But if couples have singles males selected then they are going to recieve mail from single guys despite writing "no single males". Also, its the way its is often written. "no single males cant you read are you stupid" etc etc i can read. I am not stupid and nor to i mail these couples. But if they are so frustrated by recieving mail to write these sort of capital letter rants then they should untick the box and save us all the hassle.

As another poster says though.....i think it could well be a "look at me" attention plea. However i am sinply making the point that SOME couples can be a little rude and arrogant in the generalisation of single blokes. Just my opinion.

Whats wrong with just being polite, reading the profile and if you are not what they are looking for you move on.

It takes seconds to read a profile.

We're not meeting single guys at the moment and have stated that in the first paragraph of our profile.

We have played with guys in the past and the likelihood is we will do in the future so we don't want to exclude ourselves from them as a community.

Really don't see what's wrong with that?

I can't see anyone having a problem with your profile or preferences at all - there's no ambiguity and you don't feel the need to plaster it with capitalizations expressing your exasperation with single men, the government, the crappy weather we've been having or those mythical so-called "timewasters"

If you are still receiving unwanted mail from guys its clearly not spoiling your fun so good on yer!

If it says no single males then you don't waste your time. Far better to mail those who are interested and if you get a no thanks move on to the next one.
