Isn’t it easier just to chat guys up in gay bars instead? At least that way no one can take offence op?

Not wanting to lecture - but your generation are damned lucky op! I was young in the 80’s and several of my close friends were gay. Gay bashing was an everyday occurrence. Of course you should be able to be totally open about your sexuality and others should accept it without question or prejudice- but trust me - things are a damn site easier now than they were in my youth! None of my friends dared to ‘come out’ to family, most friends, work etc etc! I even had to pretend to be my best friend’s girlfriend when his family/work started to suspect!

I know it’s sadly still an imperfect world with plenty of bigots left op - so sending lots of hugs! Xx
