I like black women - why is it a problem for some?

Hi all,

I have always loved and been attracted to black women. In fact my last 4 girlfriends have been black and i havent been with a caucasian woman since i was 16. Its not a concious thing its just what im attracted to yet a lot of my friends take the mickey for having what they call a defined 'type' but i see it as being the same as liking brunettes over blondes. Anyone have any thoughts? Am i wrong?

You like what you like. You’ve answered your own question, it’s no different to any other thing you’re attracted to, brunettes, blondes, slim, chubby etc. We all have a type don’t we.

Surprisingly quite a lot of people. A lot of people i know find it really weird and think its a strange choice to make. Im not sure if they are just small minded

Attraction isn’t a choice, it’s unconscious really, we just like what we like. Next time one of crap mates turns up with a blonde tell him you can’t believe he’s falling for the stereotype bimbo and see how he likes it. Don’t let them know it gets to you because they’ll rub you all the more, just brush it off and tell them they don’t know what they’re missing.

As long as you like them does it matter what anyone else thinks, too many people spend time worrying what others think.
