Got about 30 on there atm. Never found a reason to unblock any of them either so I know I made the right choice.

Abuse in response to a polite thanks but no thanks, the serial messagers who forget we've already said we're not interested and rude forum posters are our main ones.

That's almost the same as our reasons, mainly though to stop the won't take no for an answer brigade, easier just to block them

We have hundreds... not all abusive though, we tend to block people who have contacted us and are not people we would meet because we found lots of people had a tendency to 'forget' that we said no thanks and contact us again!

Most of mine are people i have declined and it stops them contacting me again.

A few others are there for different reasons

315 at the mo, and it annoys me, as it says i will block all ppl that does not fit my profile, but they still send friends/winks, and so on, i even had one chap ask me if i would travel to manchester for a meet as he did not drive lol

too many to to count as it changes as people delete profiles

some keep getting blocked as they keep starting new profiles and keep getting blocked

but reason vary from

not being interested

not liking forum posts

save wasting their time from forgetting they've messaged and already been turned down

oh the list goes on

Had to put a couple on mine recently for trying to arrange meets the wife seemed to no nothing about grrrr hate that me as you never no if its a set up or not. And got a few on who claim to be single fems but you just no they are bloke cock pick collectors lol bless um

Erm... none.

I use the User Notes to make notes about people, instead of just blocking them and forgetting why I'd done so.

I've never blocked someone just cause I don't like something they've said in the forum. Partly because it may be that I've misinterpreted what someone's said (it's much more difficult to convey sarcasm, for example, online than irl) but partly cause I don't take the forum or chatroom seriously at all. If I did want to remember something about someone then I think I'd still use the User Notes option.

As for blocking serial messengers... well, don't really have that problem but deleting a message takes a helluva lot less time than it took them to write it, so I don't think I'd block someone for that reason anyway. And Fab tells me if I've already messaged someone in the past, which is great.

So, in summary, the block list feature doesn't get any use from me.

Loads....I block people who I have messaged who have read and deleted without replying. It saves forgetting and messaging again which can be an irritant to them and saves me seeming like I dont pay attention once they have clearly not been interested in the first place.

40 atm, they are either abusive, won't take no for an answer, a couple of guys who don't match my preferences that were looking at me 20/30 times a day and a couple of people I know personally off site

Havent counted but I guess probably a couple of dozen. Mainly ones where the profile is something that I would usually go for, but they then have something on the status that really puts me off.... I block them so that I dont forget and get tempted when Im having a browse.

Dont think Ill need to add too many now I can write notes on the profiles - 'Step away from the send message button'

OMG, theres 45 on our list! Never realised I had blocked that many!

I only ever block people if they are nasty to me, repeatedly ignore what I say - I always give people a few chances - or if they think that cos we have played in a club, Im some kind of property they can request as and when they need it! They dont seem to realise that when Im in a club, they are simply one of many and are no more important than anyone else!
