It appears i've actually got a couple of weeks free in August which never happens.

looking to get away for a bit, somewhere i'm not going to look like the local weirdo surrounded by young families. Anyone have any sensible suggestions?

The only problem that is the high season everyone from Paris goes to the south of France but if you can afford it ,it is well worth it.
