Read Profiles Carefully

Im always interested when people state please read my profile carefully particularly regarding age preference, they may state in age range 20 to 45 but upon reading their profile as instructed you notice they have met people in their 50's so is bad manners to message them as you have read as requested but notice they meet people outside this preference?

Maybe they have net in a club and just fancied them and then only after found out they are not within there age range.

Sorry you misunderstood, not just verified when it states have met these particular people over the age range, it appears quite often if you look.

maybe profiles shouldnt be like novels and things wouldnt get missed. lol. alternatively, sick of people saying love the profile, when really they mean love the pics, because if they did love the profile they wouldnt mbe messaging as they arent what are being looked for. lol

I wouldn't say its bad manners to message people if you are a little out of their age range. The age range is set up when profile is created, not everyone will think to go back and change it. We have, I think age range set at 35 - 55 but have met people outwith this range at parties. XxX MT

If we don't meet a profiles criteria, be that age, size, area etc then we wouldn't contact them.

Prefer profiles that are detailed about what they are looking for rather than just 1 or two lines.

just use it as a guide , nothing is ever set in stone , I know we would rather go over the age limit we set for exceptional people than be well within our preferences for a disappointing meet ,if you know where were coming from

Just because you click on a drop down menu on the profile, it doesn't mean you cannot deviate from this. The profile and the age range, preference drop down boxes are not legally binding. I won't be killed or sent to prison if I play with anyone who is 28 but my profile says 30 to whatever.

Its just a vague indicator that's all.

Message them if you like, they can either meet you or refuse. At worst you will get a snotty message back and blocked, that's not really the end of the world is it.

have messaged a few couple's & ladies on here were there profile say 18/99 then found that I've been blocked so I now send something like

"Hope you don't mind me contacting you as your age group say 18/99 I wondered if you might just fancy a mature gentleman"

(if the age range is not right hope this might make them look at it & change it)

I just dont understand why people feel the need to lecture, and isnt your disection of my post a little bit of nit picking as you put it. A Forum is just a method of discussing things with people, It was a thought I had at the time and just asked the question, are you such an unhappy person you cant just answer without the critisism, there was no need for the answer you gave, just look at all the other responses quite well mannered, no critisism and humerous, yours was the only response that had a negative tone, why join in discussions when you obviously get upset by them, try some thereputic activity that may well relieve some stress in your unhappy life

Yes,it's bad manners because you're not respecting their preferences.

I'm sick of getting messages from over 50's saying 'I thought i'd message as you've obviously met someone of a similar age in the past'. Nowhere on our profile does it state we've had sex with someone over 50. They're reading what they want to see.

As others have said - preferences change. Why insist on chancing your luck and peeing people off when there are plenty more fish in the sea?

Its simple if you have read age limits and they ask you to read carefully then mail its bad manners. Who they have or have not met and the ages are not your concern as there could be a 1000 reasons. You can still mail them if you feel you want to but don't expect a reply.

we have met people out of our age range... purely social at a club and it says so on our profile we have met them and it was only social, our age preference applies to those who want to meet to play, if that is ignored due to the verification's left then the people get ignored

Actually yes sometimes they are set in stone, our age limits and everything else is what we are looking for nothing else, if it changes we change the profile accordingly, I get fed up of people asking for us to make exceptions because they are only a couple of yr older or younger etc it gets really annoying so best take things as you see it

Sorry if this has already been mentioned... but.. on your profile your age range for meets is 35-60 but a couple on your friends list are 22 & 28

Ditto. I have had this used against me, but then have been able to reply to this by stating just because i have been verified by them doesnt mean anything has went on with them. A club is a big place, and you can chat to many people, and not play with all or any.

Communication, its a fickle thing isn't it. For us the age range is a guide, we prefer to meet people in that range, but there are people older and younger, who we find rock our boat as it were. I mean just because today you're 49 and tomorrow your 50 doesn't mean that you are any different tomorrow than you are today. I feel uncomfortable with someone young enough to have been sired by me, and I feel uncomfortable with someone who is older than my own parents, but some people have personality's that are bigger than any number they can print, that represents their true age. Nothing in this world, with respect to an individuals personal taste and preferences, is set in stone. We really are not machines.
