Some people have a thing about the colors of the flowers. Red would mean the sender loves you, yellow - hates you, white chrysanthemums - wants you dead.

Those are the ones I've heard about

To me a flower is a nice thought regardless of color or type

Stick to red next time,but then of course she may then think you love her. Box of chocolates instead or a bar of chocolate maybe,a box could mean you love her again. Give her a twix,you can't go wrong with that.

my Nan told me the same Color but different species of flowers have different meanings. My parents have a book of flowers on the shelf tells you the different meanings.

Eg yellow daffodils mean new beginnings.

But yellow tansy means I declare war.

Not sure what flower is best for here though.

But I was still polite and said thank you and please etc. Just secretly inside I was bored with being with him. So I ended it.

Sometimes it's hard to end any kind of relationship. Some of us wants out but doesn't want to hurt the others feelings. For some it's better to be dumped then doing the dumping.

Some people kind of drop hints. One such hint is showing lack of enthusiasm for the relationship. Maybe that's what's happening here. Not saying her attitude is correct though. I can sort of understand why possibly she's being that way.
