Agree 100% Always seemed bizarre that what was once known as female circumcision got such a lot of publicity and a change in the law to stop what is now called female genital mutilation. Yet male circumcision is relatively commonplace.

I wonder if this is because female circumcision is popular with the African population and male circumcision is more a Jewish thing (though not uniquely Jewish by any means) or if it was because it was the women who were the ones campaigning against it.

Either way it appears that equality is once again anything but equal.
