First; when I was 19 I started a second job delivering pizzas.

I delivered to a mother and daughters house where the daughter said they would prefer to pay in kind.

Being concerned at loosing my £20 float I said no lolly no pizza and promptly returned to the shop with the pizzas. My boss asked me why I'd brought them back where he quickly took the van keys and pizza bag off me and went off.

Arriving back an hour later he explained that they were regulars and between social payments they pay in kind with both playing in exchange for pizzas.

He hadn't realised the address when I left otherwise he would have told me to go have some fun and don't worry about payment....

Another time I delivered to a house and invited in. There were 3 women dressed in robes and 4 guys in dressing gowns.

After dropping pizzas off and got paid I was asked to return after work at 1am.

It was only later ai realised I'd delivered to a swinging dinner and didn't go back...

I later discovered LOOT and swinging before the Internet came along.

One night on a chat room.I arranged to meet a couple for outdoor fun in the car at Macc Forest.

I headed up and waited, and waited and finally gave up. On the way out the forest I was flagged down by a motorist who asked if I had any jump leads as his battery was flat.

I duly stopped and got the leads out the boot and jump started the car. I noticed his wife was wearing very little through the windscreen. The guy was trying to ask me what I was doing so late ip in the forest and trying to be discreet didn't give my game away.

I got home in the early hours to where the couple I'd arranged to meet came to talk to me.

They were really apologetic in not turning up as they'd arrived early so decided to wait and listen to the radio but hadn't realised they'd left the car headlights on with the engine off and suffered a flat battery.

After telling me a really nice guy had helped them to jump start the car they then went into the forest to look for me although 2 hours late.

Moral of this story.. get the details of the car you're supposed to be meeting as I jump started the car if the couple I'd arranged to meet and not put two and two together.

He said he was trying to ask me why I was there but being unsure that I may just be someone passing weren't straight to the point.

Anyone else had losr opportunities they later kick themselves for?
