HPV is one to watch as it’s the leading cause of ovarian cancer.

Rarely any symptoms it just sits and waits in ladies. No test for men, rarely affects guys though cancer of the cock is a possibility. only way to detect in females is a smear.

When we considered swinging, we researched the risks.

There have been large scale studies done on possible transmission of Sti's, including HIV, and the risks of doing so through full sex, as opposed to oral.

The 're were lots of various combinations, all with different risks, but what it came down to was that whilst there was a small risk, unprotected oral was massively safer than unprotected anal or vaginal sex. One study concluded the average person was more likely to be run over than catch an Sti via unprotected oral. The risks reduce still further if you screen your potential playmates and eliminate anyone from a high risk group.

With basic hygiene, the use of condoms for full sex, and a bit of common sense about who you play with, the risk is almost non-existent.

However, the more people who indulge in bareback, the higher the risk becomes for everyone who swings. That's why those of us who practice safe sex get a bit wound up when we see others taking the risk.
