I'm sure that there have been dozens of threads about verifications so apologies for adding another, especially such a lengthy post!

Where do you folk draw the line on what quantity of verifications you display or hide?

It's obviously important to be verified to prove you're genuine (especially as a single male) but does anyone find that too many 'meet' verifications is just a little off-putting?

Does a shed-load of verifications suggest to you that the person/people are not particulary fussy about who they meet and that there may be a quantity over quality policy going on?

Also, has anyone received mails from other members slagging off the people that have verified you or are listed as friends?

I have hidden both my friends list and (short but high quality) verification list for the above reason.

Thoughts and comments appreciated....

i couldnt give a toss how many verifications i have, people dont see that i have a selection of verifications from different events.and if im classed as a player,bedknotcher..well...fuck them (cos thats what i aim to do anyway...thats why im essentially here!)

Seems some people take it on themselves to criticise veries and friends, one of the possibilities is that they have been turned down by that person and they feel the need to bitch. wouldn't concern yourself unduly . Nobody's business is it.

I think if you criticise people for having too many verifications then maybe you are missing the point of swinging? And while I can kinda see where you are coming from, it is still all down to personal preferences.

We hide our verifications and friends list, so it's hypothetical butif someone messaged me to slate a friend or verifiication I think I'd just message back that they were sad.

i dont bother with veris,unless we are meeting a bi guy,it helps if he has some as too many men claim they are bi to fuck me,

Ditto. I have a fair few and don't even show half of them. If people think I'm easy or a bit of a slapper then tough on them. And if people hide their veris then how am I supposed to know that their veris are decent? You could have had a crap one and chosen not to show it.

Or they could all be phone veris and you haven't actually met anyone.

No-one has ever contacted me to slag off the nice men who have met and verified me, and if they did I'd block them as they are obviously just mean people.

But how you have your profile set up is totally up to you.

tho i have quite a few verifications not on show they are all hiden for my own personal reasons and because they are ones i dont want on show for whatever reason, i would never hide my verifications in order to attract the judgemental people

to be honest so would i, and there are a few of mine that i have hidden because they are far to detailed, but what can you do? you cant tell people what to write about you so you either have OTT verifications or keep them hidden

i suppose thats ok if you have a few veries but people who only have one or two i suppose would rather have them on show

I recieved a veri today from a man from last week...I didnt fucking fuck him I didnt fucking suck him- thats when ppl have to use their noodle and read..its not difficult

I don't display my verifications as I prefer to be private about my meets. Also, what works with one person, doesn't necessarily work with another and that's hard to explain sometimes.

I read the verifications others show as they are there but I do cringe at the really explicit, detailed ones. I just tend to prefer a simple confirmation of they are who they say they are and not secret axe murderers - not all the ins and outs (pan intended) of their meet....

i do understand that some people do not want others to know who they have met so hide their verifications and i respect everyones choice but if someone verifies you and you verify them back and they choose to show their verifications people can still see who you have met via other peoples profiles

I am sorry, obviously I phrased that less than clearly. I don't mind people seeing who I have met as in most cases, I am very happy about my choices. What I prefer to keep private is the details about the meets and as I wouldn't prescribe to anyone what verification to write, some are rather explicit - not the type I'd like to read myself on others, although still nice to see myself

Wow, this is a subject that really gets my goat! I have lots of verifications and I'm proud to diplay all of them. Quite a few friends of mine have been told that they couldn't secure a meet with certain ladies as they had been with me and as I have so many I must be a "right slag" (their words not mine lol).

None of these ladies know that my friends have told me what they have said so I have been to parties where these "oh so pure" women have then met me and decided they are my best friend lol. I never let on that I know that they've been slagging me off, I just satisfy myself with the fact that they actually do like me in real life (I rarely tell them my FAB name).

Im very secure in myself and have a reputation of not giving a fuck what anyone thinks about me (like it or hate it - I really dont care!). People who judge others on how many verifications they have got.... good luck to you, the majority of my friends hide most of theirs because of the judgmental members! Who would you rather meet, somebody who shows some of their veris and hides 20 or someone who shows the full 20? Personally I'd go for the honest person all the time.

Just goes to show how differently we all _iew things. Anyone telling me they couldn't get a meet because of me, something I certainly don't need to know, I most certainly would NOT class as a friend!

I personally don't take notice of verifications, preferring to make my own mind up. Funny thing though I read verifications after I've met someone. In two years only ONE person lived up to what others had said about them and none graphic.

I think people are naive if they assume this site is the only place to hook up for nsa sex. Someone might not give a fig about verifications and only have two on show but on another site/real life etc have friction burns on their bits from all the sexual activity they've indulged in, whilst the person with 100 two could be sexual and the remainder from socials.

I don't think verifictaions are that useful as one persons good experience is dependent on their personality, fantasies etc.

But like you I tend to be very stringent with people I verify as a single woman especially because other single woman may take on board my experience to create there own.

A few meets and I have refused to verify but I am always upfront as to why.

There is nothing worst than a pest that contacts you through a verifictaion you've made that thinks they have a right to have a go too. I've had people email my friends to try and get messages passed on so hidde3n friends lists and very select friends. Trusting the people you meet in this game is very important especially for a single woman.

We've come across profiles that suggest they want to meet others that are not living in the lifestyle week on week, but those that dabble in it every now and then and maybe only meet a few times a year.

I'd asked the blockers to actually read the verifications not just to count,a good few veries came from social nites...im not fuckin superman i never shagged 10 people in a nite....or in a pub lol- again, I read their interests an felt they matchd mine, so sentiments aside they gave me an arsey response, so I gave one back lol
