A little Maths for the gentlemen who are finding it difficult to get a meet. It's probably not your fault, and here's why...

I get hundreds of messages every day (ok that might be a bit of an exaggeration, though it feels like it sometimes), but I'm yet to have my first single meet. Doesn't mean I'm not genuine - what it DOES mean is that my life is so bloody hectic that I haven't got as much spare time as I thought.

Now I'm crap at maths, but say I get 20 messages from different men a day (the first week it was easily 50, so this is a dramatic improvement). At least 3 of those will be from men hundreds of miles away, so we're down to 17. Discard the one-liners without a single pic, and we're down to 14. I'm quite picky so let's say that of those 14 I fancy half, and we're down to 7. There's a 100% chance of there being a psycho amongst those, so 6 are left. Of those 6, I'll probably only have fruitful convos with 3, who will move to Kik. At least 1 will fizzle out. That leaves just 2 men for me to find time to fit in to my 50-hour work week, trying to exercise 2-4 times a week and spending time with friends and family. Occasionally, I like to sleep as well.

What does this teach us? Fuck knows. But it's just a little insight to being a single woman on Fab. So don't give up guys - at some point you'll also be a lady's top two.

It teaches us that people who think that anyone who goes 6 months without a meet or a verification should be booted off the site, either have a lot of spare time and energy or find a greater ratio of people here that they feel like meeting

Sounds like you would be in minus figures. Did you halve it based on attraction? Potentially you had to carry the one in there somewhere...I dunno, I got a B in my GCSE sums.

How about using your filters so you only get local, verified guys with photos in your age range?

Or even searching for, and messaging a few yourself. You might get the 1 out of thousands you’re looking for..

It's a bit surprising though. Out of 20 msgs 3 are from guys on the other side of Mars? I'd have imagined it to be more like 10 Discard the one liners without a face pic and you're down to 17? I would've imagined you'd be down to 1 already I guess you said "without a pic" so maybe you're kindly allowing for cock pics haha.

Seriously though, I would've thought there was a crowd of pretty grim people on here. So I'd have imagined more of a metric of about 20 attractive people in 100 and maybe another 20 who aren't unattractive. Divide by half for weirdos, married guys, and fakes. Then maybe only 1 in a blue moon who can hold a half decent conversation, let alone anything intellectually stimulating. It would be interesting to see if your metrics change at all as you get used to the site. Good luck. Maybe give us an update if it changes xxx
