In my experience, you wouldn't want to listen to it. People aren't necessarily aware of their real reasons. But the most honest is usually that they like making a lot of money, quickly, without needing qualifications/ experience.

I don't think it's objective to say 'it's no different to any dating anyone else'. I wouldn't say that swinging is a hobby just like any other. They are both major social taboos and you can't pretend that leaves no impact on a person.
