I have an ironing board stomach (ok my pile of ironing is bigger than others)

But I heard Dad bods were attractive to the ladies and that not everyone was chasing the gym bunny look as much.

Can this be true?

I’ve found that it entirely depends on the eye of the beholder.

I’ve had the Dad bod and didn’t get any attention for my pics, I lost weight, got fit and yes, get some attention but I think it’s about who or what you’re looking for, rather than what you look like

I feel comfortable with a dad’s bod next to my mum’s bod. I remember seeing some photos of me playing with a young gym fit guy. I was so ashamed to see my belly hanging down next to his chiselled body. That’s the last time I batted above my station lol! Bring out the dads bod any time!

Despite my efforts to keep fit (admittedly that’s just running and cycling, but plenty of it), I still have a bit of a Dad’s bod. However, the young lady in the couple I’ve seen most recently seems to love my body. In fact the pair of them are super-fit gym bunnies and I feel like the most unlikely choice for them to play with.

There are great beach bodies with less appealing faces, there are pretty faces on average bodies, there are some that are Bang average everywhere like myself and then there's the gods gift.

Ultimately it's all about what you like or want.

Are some peaple shallow? Possibly. But it's not against the law to have preferences.

I've said it so many times.. for me personally, personality just seems to take away all those little imperfections and the desirability factor increases.

As a former competitive sportsman (amateur mainly), I know how hard it is to keep the weight off. Despite continuing to exercise moderately and massively reduce my calorie intake, it is still a fine line between dad bod and the pregnant spider

Love these “look at me” type threads.

Everyone is different.... that’s what makes us unique! Each individual person likes different things when it comes to visual attraction... some people like a variety of appearances and aren’t tied to one type only.

I would spend less time worrying about “am I the kind of guy/girl someone would want to meet” and spend Moreno time enjoying yourself
