Over the last year, I have heard more and more about "high class" or "posh" swingers nights starting at £75 per couple. Has anyone been to one and are they worth it.

What would you expect for the money too.

I’d expect pompous people who think they’ve just paid for a guaranteed shag.

The problem with charging higher amounts of money and branding the even as high class or posh is people will have high expectations and will often be disappointed. £75 may not seem excessive but personally I’d rather put that money towards a hotel room and invite a nice couple over.

Although I’d reconsider if the val-au-vants had prawns in them

It's all relative. Sleep in a 5 star hotel or a premier inn, price will be a lot different. But if you want a bed for the night the experience not so different.

Swingers parties can happen in a camper van or a 5 star mansion, the difference between great and terrible is who you are sharing the space with.

I'm quite happy for people to hold events with a higher than usual entry fee. Apart from the entitlement issue we couldn't afford £150 to get in and I doubt they'd want a couple of old codgers clogging up the sofas

Class to me is that of a gentleman or a woman with a kind heart but the common denominator is morals. All depends on your moral compass, thats what dictates my definition

I think Le Boudoir is £70 a couple. We keep meaning to go, and a lot of people speak very highly of this club. We normally go to Eurekas at half the price, which is fun too. But it’s the same as enjoying a salt of the earth restaurant then treating yourself occasionally to a posh restaurant. Sometimes it’s nice to enjoy plusher surroundings and pay extra for the luxury.

If we were to gather together all our swinging friends and choose a location for a sex party, we would enjoy the 5 star mansion a lot more than the camper van, and would be prepared to pay more for the luxury. That’s just us. We like nice things.

We would be way happier in the camper van , yet ironically we could happily spend whatever on a night out . Some years ago , we went to a posh swingers night in a posh hotel . It was £95 to get in after sending a full length pic of us both . I had to wear a suit and tie , my wife sexy clothes .

We were more used to Chams but thought we’d give it a go . So after parking with the posh cars we went in and were greeted with a cheap glass of fizz . After that we were expected to pay vastly inflated prices for drinks . The average age of the gusts was way nearer mine than my wife’s ( 50’s ) , and there was no one playing 2 hours into the evening ( 11pm ) . We had nothing in common with anyone attending and went after two and half hours of boredom . We went dogging , and that was much more fun

This sums it up. One thing you have no control over at a party or club is the clientele attending on a given night, however much is paid for entry. For us we would be put off by unclean or tacky surroundings. A good venue is a start but even better if you can pick your playmates.

Some normal clubs can run single guys £75 and up let alone a couple.
