Just a quick question to all..

If you liked the look and sound of someone you’d spoken to from here, so much so that you arranged a meet... If said person had an injury, complaint or illness (non contractable / non contagious) would this put you off of them?

We had a guy turn up once to a group meet with terrible psoriasis. I didn’t mind but I wish he’d said because we were all a bit taken aback when he took his top off.

I think letting people know in advance is a good idea.

Depends how debilitating it is for them. Only because I have one of my own and two of us struggling wouldn't make for very good sex.

We met a guy once that said he had a scar on his face (the pic he sent must have been old) when he turned up- half his face was missing and it was oozing

Luckily we always only have a social meet first so we can both discuss things-so we had a drink, used our usual 'get out' code and messaged him after and said sorry not for us

Given my first meets are social, not at all. If I liked then, but found that I couldn't overlook their condition, I would hope that we could still be on friendly terms, even if a play was no longer on the cards

It really depends on what the condition/injury was, but if it's something which is visually obvious, then generally some prior warning would be appreciated, so I have the chance to talk about how it affects them (if it's relevant), and make a mental adjustment if necessary.

Not sure if this counts as an ailment.

Few years ago had a meet was a social first.

She was pretty and seemed quite keen but she arrived in flip flops and her feet had cuts and scabs and blisters all over them and was bright red compared to tone of the rest of her skin colour.

I just couldn't.

Im already not a big fan of feet as it is.

We're not meeting at the moment for that reason, We've both got bad backs and I've got an injured leg following an accident, most the time it's not too bad but it does flare up and usually during sex. I also now get really bad cramp in my hips when I orgasm I feel we'd be wasting others time meeting them when we are like this

Met a guy on here and went well, and arranged a repeat meet (daytime in a hotel he was staying on business). We turned up, he came out to meet us with arm in a sling, turned out he’d had a sports accident and sprained badly, got in room took it straight off and he thought it was hugely amusing as it had put us off our stride. We went ahead with meet but shortened it and , when he contacted again to say visiting area, it was an easy call to politely decline. All we talked about after was “ what the hell did he do the sling thing for”

Genuinely curious...i used that word as the only way to describe the severity of his disability,but wasn't aware that it is no longer a medical term

My mothers best friend in the 70's was black,she preferred coloured...words are just that-words,I've worked with disabled people in hospitals in the past and in my current job and treated them as i would anybody else,I'm just not into being fucked by them and if i was i would like to know first so i wouldn't be put on the spot...i think people nowadays are a little bit too judgemental of people they don't know,but whatever,I won't lose any sleep over it.

I know but I think she should have said something beforehand. Then I would have been mentally prepared to handle the situation better.. other than that she was a great person.
