Couples resort, all inclusive, very expensive, but great place. we included a review of it in our book under the ten clubs elsewhere in the world section

Used to go to Hedo 3 in runaway bay Jamaica! Great fun but sadly now closed. It seems there were complaints...I think Negril is still open but would have to check.

Also Don't make the mistake of thinking that all adult only venues are swinging venues as you'll be thrown out!

Hottub pic taken at Hedo it was a shame that more Europeans didn't go as those that did tended to be a little quieter than our friends from over the pond!

Perhaps it would still be open although it did need a coat of paint after the hurricanes and looked very tired from its first season open

Wether you go to couples Negril or Ocho Rios they are all inclusive adult only venues and NOT swinging venues, there is a BIG difference.

Ocho provides a great starting point for all the best attractions, swim with dolfins, dunns river falls, blue mountain and bob Marley tour.

Negril has 7mile beach and some of the best sunsets.

As you can probably tell really enjoy jamaica and was even lucky enough to go twice in one year and have been back many times.

As for expensive, well there are places far more expensive but you get what you pay for, Sandals are really nice destinations

Seems _lubpartypeeps are not very well informed as we would never consider it expensive as we can spend more on a week in gran canaria ( our other swinging destination of choice ) than we can going to Hedo and remember it`s super all inclusive there i.e brand names etc all you can eat any time of day or night you just gotta know where to book and don`t use uk travel agents

yes the resort is a little bit tired but if you have been then you`ll know it`s more than just the buildings it`s a very special place and those who have been there will know what we mean ( the resort has something like a 85% repeat guest rate so they must do something right )

and as said above it is not a swinging resort it is an adult resort that has swingers takeover weeks i.e whole month of january,few weeks in july etc

as for the rest i.e needing to be rich,young and goodlooking to go then you have really been misinformed as the average age is 35 plus from all walks of life from truck drivers to doctors

If you are just passing through you can enter via a day or night pass available to non residents

Chances are that in most of the adult only resorts you won't get in as a single.

Totally agree about the cost! Fully inc is excellent value!

I used to book hotel direct and as a repeat guest was always looked after and then book flights on line seperately. There are some agents that can cater if you prefer to go that route.

I just need to have someone to go with now! lol

Not tried the med Hedo as I prefer the caribian.

Think I saw it on Ibiza uncovered! Some time ago though!

We guess it depends on what you consider expensive to be, generally we were referring to the overall cost of a trip there, but with everything included, you get what you pay for, and put it this way, we gave it 5 stars out of five.

Would have given a much longer answer normally, but we just moved house and have very limited internet access at the moment.

It is certainly worth a visit, no doubt about it.

Was shocked to find out its not mainly a swinging club.

Did check out the prices & yes is expensive, although I'm going to be staying out there anyway.

We would say on a typical weekend, a very high percentage of the people there are Swingers, certainly that was the case when our lot went and we didn't go on a swingers take over week either. There are several clubs inside the resort, some of which are more 'adult' orientated than others, if you follow our drift. I guess like anywhere, it can depend on who is there when you go. The entry policy can also depend on what other events are going on at the time.
