. . . . have sex with someone even if there was no sexual chemistry!

I've been thinking ( I know, dangerous on here) about the whole meeting people for sex, connections etc.

I know I'm not in a rush for sex so I prefer to get to know someone. A couple of social meets first. Having said that ( and this is only my thoughts, expectations) I have to feel some sexual chemistry on those I initial meets! I want it, even if it's subtle, it makes me tingle with anticipation and desire and lust. For me this gives me a real indication that the person I'm with is someone I hope to enjoy very errotic time with. Does this make me high maintenance? Do I have unrealistic expectations?

Or am I just very in tune with myself and needs? Looking for real connections. I carn't get intimate with a guy just because he shows up!

Nope, not unrealistic at all, I wouldn’t have sex with anyone if there was no connection !!

I’ve had lots of socials and then said no sorry not for me.

I love meeting someone new feeling that initial spark and then the build up, the flirting, teasing and anticipation of a couple of socials before anything else happening.

I think it all adds to the overall experience!!

There's got to be some kind of sexual connection otherwise what's the point?

From experience if I had to choose I'd rather have sex with someone I fancied but didn't actually like as opposed to someone I liked but didn't fancy.

The first option can result in explosive sex that you know probably isn't going to go anywhere, the second option usually just results in a crap shag.

The sexual chemistry is a must.

Used to when I first joined but I have quickly realised that in order to fully enjoy the great experience that sex can provide, my principles need to be in line with my lust.

Therefore, I couldn't have sex with anyone that does not fit certain criteria:

We've been doing this for years and learned along the way. We've had sex in the early days with people who we've later realised we probably should have called it a night earlier. Weve just refined our selection process as we've gone along and we've not had a really bad meet for sometime.
