I can't imagine what family would say, not that I'm ashamed, just could do without the hassle

Most people don't give a shit about other people's sex lives. Why force that information on them?

Truro

A couple of my friends know.

One I met through the lifestyle and occasionally play with so obvs she's completely open to it.

The others didn't say much. Just that they don't think they could do it but whatever works for us!

I did get an initial reaction of total disbelief and confusion though. The phrase "but you're married?!" Was said at me several times lol

I would hate for my family to know though!

We've got friends that everyone knows are swingers, some people they are open with, others found out as their fab profile wasn't particularly discreet. As far as I'm aware they haven't had any negative responses, most people are more curious or jealous that the fella is getting so much action at 60+.

But we'd never want to share the information with others, not because we're embarrassed, but I'd never dream of sharing with friends/family/colleagues any other of my sex life so why swinging? And I don't suppose many others would have the slightest interest in my sex life as I have zero interest in hearing about that of my friends/family and colleagues.

We told our family and friends because ex husband found out from a woman on here told him all our details

Told family before we got married and also told them I was bi. Mother said should you be marrying dave then.

All friends accepted it and some ask questions about it too.

It's our lifestyle not theres

We keep it quiet sadly, would be a hell of a lot easier if we felt we could be open-about it xx

Nonsense. Sex is one of people's favourite gossip subjects. There's a reason "sex sells".

We aren't open about our intimate relationship with anyone. I don't mean just sex but all aspects of our relationship with each other. Neither of us feel it's anyone's business but our own.

I'm not sure if people feel they need approval from others but if so it's never going to be given

My private life is simply that: private.

I have no desire to share with my loved ones the colour and frequency of my bowel movements, the balance of my bank account or how I like to watch Ben fuck other women etc.

I honestly believe I can have a happy and fulfilled life without sharing all the minutia of it.

"Most people don't give a shit about other people's sex lives. Why force that information on them?"

Because in this day and age if you can't share every detail on social media you don't have a life. "Private" only appears on official envelopes nowadays.

Our swinging lifestyle is private..why would we not want it to be, We could not imagine our sons coming across us on the internet, Just saves all the family and neighbour embarrassments. We are not ashamed, but on the other hand, nobody really needs to know if it's a lifestyle they do not participate in themselves..You have to remember, it may not affect your personal life now but it could come back to haunt your in years to come, That's why we never show faces on or pics.

In your bed

Don't do Facebook and have never participated in twitter. It's an interesting social experiment to be sure.

If it was a government service people would baulk at the idea of telling the government their every day movements and shopping habits. A private company and the wider world not so bothered.

As for swinging we keep it to ourselves. Friends and neighbours we'd not be to concerned about. But for work, parents and kids it other peoples attitudes would cause hassle we can live without.

No child wants pics of their parents sex life being passed around the school.

Indeed. This is the only "social media" site I am on. I have got the age where I don't give a shit about what people thing about me, hence I have no desire to try to convince the world what a great person I am.
