There is quite an active Irish scene, there's loads of groups on there for local munches and events. Google Nimhneach, it's a bdsm themed club night once per month. But if you're shy the munches are the best place to start.

But I agree it can be hard to filter us out on here, especially as so many profiles are blank or say very little.

Unlike the UK scene the Irish scene is a bit more discrete and by word of mouth until people get to know you

Yeah that is true and not many people are open about it but also with me being young and saying i'm into it people think i'm taking the piss as im so young which can be annoying

Go in, fill out your profile as best you can, have a look at a few of the group's and events in Dublin. There's munches for all sorts. I recommend one of the smaller ones (or even a Tuesday munch instead of Saturday) to begin with. Once you start recognising people it's much easier.

Be open to learning, and with your interests etc. Don't worry about fitting into a certain label or box. Most of all just be genuine. And have fun
