Some folks are a pain

Some people seem to take pleasure in leading others up the garden path. I haven't been on here very long but already had what I thought to be 3 meets arranged but they did not happen. Only 1 arranged meet has.

First was a bi-couple (M/F)arranged to meet at mine. Never showed and haven't been in contact since, they blocked me as well. I've blocked them.

Second was a M/F couple to meet at a pub with view to going back to theirs if we 'clicked' at the pub. No show by them. No further contact from them.

Third was bi guy and straight wife to meet at mine. They phoned about half hour before meet time to say that sorry but their car had broken down and they couldn't make it. As they live about 2 miles from me I offered to go pick them up but they declined, I said I'm on a bus route that goes by their place. They said they don't do buses. At which point I asked if they would get a cab. They said no, don't do cabs as they're too expensive. So I said when their car was back on the road to let me know and we could re-arrange. Their answer was just to hang up!! In other words they weren't interested at all in a meet.

Just what planet are some people on?

I have had a successful meet from this site and it was good, and we will be meeting again. So not all bad news eh.

Brighton - even Hove!

It’s very annoying. I always try to have a social first and in a cafe so the worst that happens is that I have a coffee on my own, at a time I’d already planned for.

Report them for not turning up.

Unless you actally spoke to any of these couples on the phone then they were deffo just guys.

Ask to voice verify with the fem half early on before giving the man any wank fodder and the fakes will soon turn into tumble.

Not 100 percent foolproof but a good way of sifting the genuine from the timewasters.

I spoke to both partners in each case early on and all seemed above board. Maybe I'm just a bit gullible but hey ho I am not tarring all the good genuine people here with the same brush. I shall persevere and things may just work out as I want them to. Onwards and upwards as they say!!

Id ask to speak to both M and F if a couple on the phone just to make sure they are a couple, if for what ever reason they cant then assume its a male pretending to be a couple. Its rife on here. I know it still doesn't stop couple's backing out last min but it still clarifies they are a couple and puts your mind at rest
