I have just been speaking to a lovely young lady (who unfortunately is taken). And we got on to the subject of me not getting too many replies.

One of her theories was my age, and people thinking that makes in their 20s are just after notches on the bed post??

Is this true? Or am I doing something wrong??

I’m not sure why you’re not getting many replies, OP, I liked your profile. There are a lot of people on here who won’t meet anybody unverified though, maybe that’s holding you back?

I’ve actually seen far worse profile texts and your age wouldn’t put me off!

I can understand why - but it’s a shame your pics are so pixilated as you can’t see much of what is probably a great face and body!

I'm only teasing haha. There are many variables in all honesty. It could also be the emotional maturity. It depends on your preferred age range

. If I was younger, I definitely would haha. Looking at your pictures, you're a good looking guy

i wouldnt worry too much, your profile is good, youve not been on long...there are often threads with guys blaming their age ...too young, too old....for not getting meets but its usually obvious what their problem is! just look at peoples age preferences, use searches and don't give yourself premature grey hairs worrying about something you can't change!

Some woman are looking for younger guys and there are younger woman on here but I do think guys in their 30s have the upper hand... well they do with me. Just spotted you have winked me, thank you- but I'm one of those awkward woman that want men in 30s and 40s

Speaking from experience, it does seem that the vast majority of younger guys on Fab are looking for older women while those women are not looking for younger men. Generally, of course.

I would say I'm very polite and take the time to write an individual message to each person I contact, I pretty much always attach pictures and it's nothing short or sleazy. Yet, I would wager a good 90-95% of messages go opened and ignored or unopened entirely. Those few who do reply are usually "thanks but no thanks".

Of the five meets I have organised; four of them stood me up completely and one was a social. And I've been on Fab for years.

So, yeah, *personally* I would say being young is a bit of a curse here haha! But hey, what do you expect from a sexual site like Fab? The women can pick and choose from anyone they want, you just have to hope for the planets to align and for you to be in the right place at exactly the right time.

I think. Idk.... I'm kinda at the end of my tether with Fab lol.

Mate believe me it's just as tough this end, I look after myself everyday and treat everyone with respect yet regularly lose out to a short hairy fatmam with no teeth. Go figure

The expectation that a few lines of text in a message will get you a free fuck is pretty naive, and unfortunately that is what many guys of any age are hoping on fab. If you want to be taken seriously as a swinger my advice would be to get yourself to a club, meet people face to face and show them what you can offer. In my experience young guys are welcome playmates in clubs, and I should know - I have played with plenty!

I may be way off base here and ladies please correct me if I am.

But unless you're in a New Kids On The Block tribute act, lose the sideways baseball cap. I'm a hat man myself and nearly always wore a baseball cap in my 20s but in hindsight it was a hindrance. It screams 'CHAV' and clearly you're not.
