What do people think about the idea of visiting a distant admirer for a first meet and staying the night?

It would obviously be a social with a view to perhaps more... a whole gorgeous night of more. But there would also need to be the understanding that if it didn't lead to anything I could still crash in the spare room and head off in the morning.

It would be nice if something like this could be made to work as it would be lovely to have a little bit of an adventure off to different parts of the UK, combining it with some highly memorable stop overs. It would also be nice to know I have a sexy friend in such-and-such-a-place who I can stay with in the future some time.

Your thoughts... Would you do it? Pitfalls? How would you make it work for you? Curious

We have no problem travelling any distance to meet somebody, obviously make sure you’re comfortable they’re genuine etc, but as you say it’s a reason to visit somewhere different

Way we do it is to get a hotel nearby, nearest big city is usually ideal. Go for a social, or drinks or whatever and then if things click play at the hotel or I suppose you could always go back to their place.

It’s a lot more comfortable that way as there’s no expectation, you have your independence and if the meet doesn’t happen or work then it’s just a few days away.

I done exactly this at the weekend. On a whim, I invited her to a concert which was accepted. The lady was to stay at mine with the agreement that if we didn’t fancy each other we’d sleep in separate rooms.

We’d chatted prior and then had a drink at my apartment and a little kiss.

Then we went out and had more drinks, meal, concert then back to mine...the evening went well, flirting, kissing and touching all evening, so only one bedroom was needed

Then breakfast the next day before a car ride to the coast for ice cream....got to finish a meet off with ice cream

It was probably more of a GF/BF experience than a normal meet but it worked perfectly and I’d thoroughly recommend it.

THIS!! Exactly what I'm thinking of. Sounds absolutely gorgeous. But I wonder if women would be more nervous about having a man stay over... albeit a very friendly one

I think the way to work it is very much along the lines of what GIJoe experienced - although the slight change to that would be to book a hotel room that if we didn't fancy each other in person I'd be happy to forego (but still pay my half of the cost) and head for home.

Now that would obviously depend on the distance but the drive home is one I'd have had to make anyway (regardless of whether it was that night or the next day) so it wouldn't be that big a hardship.

Didn’t consider that whole gf:bf date weekend aspect of it, with us being a couple the dynamic of our meets are slightly different.

If you’re both comfortable and happy then I’d say go for it. That fact that you’re considering how the lady feels says a huge amount and if she’s happy to have you stay and there’s understanding in place then why not.

Ive done it before with someone from another site, but we met at a hotel..

We made sure we were both on the same page sexually, exchanged pics, chatted on the phone and even cammed before we eventually met..and when we did it was all worth it

I did this a couple of times 'back in the day' - on two separate occasions I drove 350 miles up to Glasgow, spent the night, and drove back the next day...

....one was a spur-of-the-moment thing with a very late-night arrival...

....the other was planned a few days in advance - the lovely young lady cooked dinner, and breakfast the next morning...
