Is being a short guy a huge turn off to women and coupled.

Genuine question because obviously I'm only short and granted I'm no Adonis or ought infact pretty average of say well apart from my height that is lol.

But is it one of the main reasons you are put off from a profile at all.

Is there many women or couples who like or don't mind a single guy being short.

My wife is 4 or 5 inches taller than me. Much more if she is wearing heels.

It is a problem in the real world as much as it is in the fab world.

Having said that other positives can overcome that one negative.

But since joining here, I'll admit I've changed my opinion slightly.

Psychologically I really need a man to be a fair bit taller than me. And as I wear heels for swinging, that adds another 3 or 4 inches to the requirement. So in do check. I wish I were a bit shorter because then I’d have more choice of men. On the other hand if I were shorter, the really tall men would be out range.

I think that's a fair and reasonable approach. I have played with several taller women over the years. Had it been in a dating context it may have been an issue and that's fine by me.

I’ve never dated a guy that has been near my height. 5ft 11 is the tallest guy i’ve dated.

I tend to be more concerned with if they’re a decent bloke rather than if i can look them in the eye when talking.

At the end of the day, there are deep rooted reasons for this preference in evolutionary psychology, so it's not something to take offence over. Female preference is also less fixed than male preference, so there are plenty of women who won't be bothered.

Oh I know, don't worry I don't take offence to it. I used to when I was younger but I've accepted that everyone has preferences and so I don't don't worry about them.

What I meant by my first post was that if I saw on a profile that I had to be a certain height or look a certain way or do something etc, then it feels like I'm just ticking boxes and that I have to earn the ability to speak to them which doesn't feel right to me, so if I see a profile with a list of requirements, even if I fit the bill, I won't message them

No I have preferences like everyone does, I'm just saying that when a profile lists them like "you must be..." I feel it makes the owner of that profile seem a bit high maintenance and only interested in certain characteristics which I think would ruin the fun.

For me it is. I typically won't meet anyone under 6ft and I def won't meet anyone shorter than me.

I hate that saying . I have had sex with shorter men and you can notice the difference "

I too have noticed a difference when the male is around my height. It just doesn't really work.

That and the laws of physics must apply ergo you are the same height standing up or lying down

I agree with this. I wear heels, and am not "slight". 5' 10" is my lower limit, but men often lie.

I completely understand the issue with height and if say because of it I would hazard a guess and say around 70% of women on here would not entertain me because of it.

But fortunately that is not the case when I go to clubs because they clearly take not notice of that and more about my actual personality and most women I've played with at clubs have been taller than me which is not hard lol.

And seen their profiles on here afterwards and most say must be taller than them lol.

Lol no not at all in the least argumentative person in world. Not got time in my life for all that.

I just say it how I see it and if someone don't like that or my opinion so be it makes no difference in my life or theirs.

I tend to like women under 5’4”. I’ve been with 5’0” to 5’7”.

Spot on ma’m...I get the height issue but it’s just part of a package. Depending on what you are looking for in the experience, height is just a factor albeit a very important one for most ladies. Again everyone is entitled to their preference same as, if a guy prefers slimmer vs curvy or faboulous. I for one have preferences but most importantly is that can I have a good banter or conversation before the meet/play otherwise it’s mindless fuckery with no passion
