Would you class vaping as a smoker

I mean you don't get the fag as smell but your still putting something in your mouth and puffing away

Not really, some people vape for other reasons other than giving up smoking.

Can see both sides of it though.

We haven’t smoked a real cigarette in over 5 years so don’t really see ourselves as smokers.

Understand fully those that think differently though

I George don't smoke, mildred gave up smokeing 2yrs ago but she does vape, she uses the flavoured oils with zero nicotine and she only uses the pen type not the big boiler type things that blow out huge clouds of vape,

now it is just a habit of having something to use mainly for comfort, we don't class ourselves as smokers but understand both sides.

Sweet flavours help with a sweet tooth apparently.

Some people say it works well

That’s not the point , we were asked if we classed vaping as the same as smoking .

Those of us who said we did , said so because we do see it the same .

What it is wasn’t the question , what we thought of those who vape was . So no further education is needed .

Well to be fair, it's not the same as from your kettle; Which is water vapour and steam. Vapes produce a cloud of small particulates of VP, PG, possibly nicotine and flavours. Much less harmful than cigarettes but long term issues are possible.

And I say all that as a regular vaper having not smoked in a couple of years.

to be fair we all breath in second hand air from others around us especially in crowded spaces, just because you cannot see it or smell it dosnt mean its not there for others to breath in,

also that's how most colds and flu are spread simply by breathing in second hand contaminated air,

so I'm not sure your theory holds much grounds.

So you don't exhale then? Just because you can't see what you're breathing out, doesn't mean it's not there. You're breathing in what's been up someone's nose or down their throat whether you like it or not. How else do you think we get colds etc? The fact that the vapour is visible, is irrelevant.

I hate clouds of vape vapours, whether it's the same as smoking or not I dislike it. We don't really know what is in the vapours and if it's harmful at all. I met a vape user once and the taste and smell made me feel sick.

To be honest I,d rather meet a considerate smoker than a vapour
