Friend Requests...I'm curious!

I'm genuinely curious...does anyone actually accept friend requests from complete strangers?

We seem to get a lot out of the blue, from people who haven't even messaged us. All it serves to do, is to highlight the fact that they clearly haven't read our profile, so they're very unlikely to get any response from us, let alone a positive one...it's a bit counter productive really.

No - although if I kind of like the look I'll sometimes hold fire to see if they follow it up with a message in which case, if we got on, I'd accept later. Rarely happens though!

I just leave all the requests as hey are neither accept or delete as it means they can’t send the request again.

we don't. Tbh it annoys me, especially as we say we don't on our profile !

If they persist they get blocked

No although sometimes we will keep them them and wait for them to be off line and then look at their friends only pictures, after a quick perv we remove them from our friends list and they are none the wiser

No I don’t. I wouldn’t send an unsolicited request to a woman I hadn’t chatted with before and therefore wouldn’t expect a woman to send one to me.

No I don't and I leave them there to prevent them sending again. Every now and then I delete them and if I notice someone resending a friend req I block them. That'll learn them

I very rarely send them out; if I do it's after chatting an knowing that i want to be friends.

I will accept them but, once again, only if we've chatted and get on well. I'm a form believer that you can be friends on fab without having a hyperlink to prove it.

Or if I'm feeling nice I leave them on friends so they can see my crap dandelion pic.

If they have cute face pics those get fabbed leaving the friends requester wondering how a (now non-friend) could fab their friends only pics

No. Sometimes il accept, look at their pics then unfriend them. I can do it when they are online as my pics are mostly private so they dont gain anything. If they keep sending friend requests then i block them.

I only accept from people I have spoken to. I get a lot of random friends requests where there has been no contact previously and it is just instant delete I am afraid.

Thank you all for your replies, I'm glad it's not just me...I thought I was just being bit of an intolerant, mardy baggage!

I generally just leave friend requests hanging, so people can't resend.

Loving the ninja offline adders who sneak a peak at people's photos then remove them again...that's genius, I might adopt that approach myself in future!
