Who's the time waster

So I arranged a meet with a couple today who I won't name.. I told them I wasn't avalible until 7 and to send me when and where.. they was quiet local staying near me. They gave me directions on here and I set off. My mobile network has parental lock so when I got there and parked the car I could not find where I was going.. luckily i got my bearings a eventually found the place. I knock on the door and greeted.. this is about 45 mins after I set off... oh we thought you was a time waster and pretty much told to go.... when I got home I hope fab and have a message calling me another time waster

About 15 20 mins if I was to go straight there... I was and home within the hour

You couldn't text to say you were lost? 45 mins to travel less than a mile, I'd think you'd bottled it to be honest. Then again I'd text to ask where you were. Sounds like a miscommunication on both sides.

Surely if you had your phone with you... Google maps wouod have helped.

Let's face it... everyone has a quite modern phone these days.. and it works without parental control too

Well you live and learn. Don't meet someone without swapping numbers first, or at least a definite meeting place rather than vague directions, and get the parental lock off your phone.

No you are were not timewasting. How can you be? You turned up. The only thing they can acuse you if is being late. Seems a bit over the top to react like that because someone had difficulty finding their way. Make your you exchange a phone number in the future.

I think if they were expecting you in 15 minutes and you didn’t turn up for 45 minutes they have every right to be pissed off .

It seems you now realise the parental lock thing was a schoolboy error , so onwards and upwards

So if you met them, then why did they not follow through?

Ok seems they were the time wasters then... you turn up AND speak to them.. they then you away... maybe they didn't like the look of you in person.

Alas there are a many people on here who waste peoples time, I am sure many just do it for the attention and to get a quick thrill. You arrange a meet then when you ask for address etc they go offline for days or block you, the verification system is broken. You should be able to give people feedback or leave negative comments if they're abusive or waste time.

My hubby did this last night with his provider didnt have to prove he was over 18 just asked them to remove it

45 mins is a bit of a long time to be fair as your were local..maybe because of their anticipation of the meet and the bit of nervses we all get and that time it took you to get there the mood had gone or they might have even had sex 30 mins after the expected time of your arrival ..you have to remember we all get let down with no shows from time to time and maybe they thought this was one of them times..but it does look like better communication was needed all round
