Think it may depend on how long you’re planning to do anal for? Personally I love anal sex - but can only take it for so long as it’s starts to smart/sting after a while - so I have to go back to vaginal for a ‘break ‘!

If you don’t have the same problem, though, I guess you’re good to go!

All I can recommend is changing your position frequently as you will find your hips and knees start to feel the strain if you're in the doggy position for too long, try taking some on your back and even on your side......and PLENTY of lube, good luck x
